Vexl was born in the outskirts of Seringale. He was an unsightly child,
often called a monster by the other kids. His family kept him hidden from
the populace in order to hide their shame. How could such a distinct family
bore such a hideous monstrosity. In his room that was kept locked, he read
a lot of books. He was particularly interested in books that leaned towards
death and necromancy. Tales and stories about them has always fascinated
him. Then one fateful night, his home was raided by bandits, his parents
were slain. Their screams still resound in his head, never really knowing
whether they truly loved him or not. The bandits burst through his bedroom,
only to be hampered by a permeating scent of pus and death. He hid
underneath his bed until the bandits had left. He walks out of the room,
heads toward the kitchen to find the corpses of his parents. Instead of
being overwhelmed with emotion at the sight, he grinned and caressed their
dead bodies. He laid them both on the floor and examined them carefully.
Slowly and with precision started to dissect each of the corpses as he had
read in the books. He gingerly takes a piece of bone from both corpses as a
memento of the parents he once had. As the days and months passed he
wandered around the area slaughtering any creatures that he could, examining
and dissecting their corpses trying to understand them. One day, he wanders
into Seringale covered in grim and dirt, searching for a place to belong.
He stops infront of the necromancer guild, with a grin on his face he starts
a new adventure.
I give up man, that death at the end was dumb. Outside his pk range then assisted in killing Sayton and then was in his pk range after and then I got killed for it. Ugh.
Regardless. I mastered most of his spells and damn that took a long darn time to do especially sleep. Almost had animate corpse mastered too dang that was ridiculous.

How did you get into his PK range? You are 40 and he is 50.

I was assisting him in killing Sayton while following him then I came into his PK range. Then he killed me

After kill Sayton, did you look into the corpse?

we didn't kill Sayton we fled rested then when I was sleeping he cursed and all the hoopla on me. Full loot and all. Not sure if it's a new thing that you get in PK range when assisting on kills or on mobs
didn't like this char always asking for hand outs. I murdered you took the purple potion I was trying to grab from the corpse of my large hobgoblin, that's how you entered my range. ALSO I didn't ask you to help me with sayton I was killing him for myself you just followed me.

Hand outs, I paid for all the gear I got and i wasn't asking you for handouts and you asked me to take you there. Oh well I'm over it

why do you enter out-of-range PK for picking up a purple potion from a corpse
this sounds like a bug and if it was intentional it sounds like it might have been a bad idea
If you loot someone elses corpse(vulture) you enter their pk range... It's mainly aimed at player corpses. So some lowbie can't swing by take all the stuff and not get punished for it.

Lol. Entering Pk range over looting purple potions seems like a bug....

Regarding this anti-vulture thingy, I believe that this was meant to only occur when you loot someone's player kill but I have noticed instances where you will enter the pk range of the person if you pick up any items from mobs that he killed. I wonder if this is intentional to apply the anti-vulture to prevent mob-loot-vulturing.

Oh I guess that makes sense, I've come across a similar situation as well where I could PK a lvl 10 but wasn't sure why.

fixed this bug, looting non-rares from npc corpses will no longer cause the looter to enter the pk range of the owner of the corpse
looting anything from a dead player or looting rares & shit off mobs still gets you rekt
Only did it for the souls, didn't take anything else but that. Some fought back while others didn't and died. You can ask Lourch, Xyriath and such I tried killing them when they were around but they were too good to die.
how the hell did you almost master animate corpse? That seems like one of those spells that I would just not even try to get better at. Also nice work with trying another necro, buddy they are hard for someone new. Try a ranger and make your character with a different type of name.

I really wanted to master it so that I wouldn't fail as much, still ended up failing a ton though. I wanted to make another necro and see how I'll fair the second time around but I guess it was too soon to be able to get really good at it. I did improve a little bit though, it just wasn't to a degree where it was exceptional. Still tons of fun I'd say.
