You turn into an invincible ghost for a few minutes.
As long as you don't attack anything.
You have died due to failing health.

I was getting tired of getting Malicious beast, paid zero attention ranking this guy, the cycle of attack->win/die->requip just gets boring after a while. I tried not to revert back into mikoos with this character, but it's the only rp I find fun these days.

I think I've played too many games, or to many high fantasy games, I'm just not feeling it with games at all.

It sounds like you need to step your roleplay up a notch if this is honestly boring you. I have never experienced what you are saying y ou are.

sounds like he's just tired of scrubbing

mikoos, try making a string of characters and delete them early until you get lucky and go on a killing spree.

Quality over quantity. The world only comes to life if everyone participates. If guy A thinks your roleplay is awful and decides not to go along then it hampers everyone's fun, even guy A's. People don't seem to have their characters give respect or fear to high or max rank characters or characters in cabals or coteries like they should. It feels like everyone treats everyone equally and expect the same even though from a character point of view that really shouldn't be the case.

As far as the cycle of having to regear make some allies. If there's an aspect of the pk game that isn't fun, there's something in roleplay or power gaming to fix that. Allies are relatively cheap these days. Even evils are chummy like its all flowers and shit.

Getting malicious beast alone takes a while. A few allies or even people you can pay to quickly down the respective mobs and leave the gear for you somewhere near them can turn a thirty minute-one hour re-eq into a 5-10 minute get all spree.

Again, too much chummy evil and too few Knights. If you have trouble playing evils, play a good. I know my roleplay is much better with good even though I sort of know how to create an evil persona.

I don't know what my exact issue is. I think I remember reading somewhere, that every story is really based on 12 plot points or something. Sometimes I think game of thrones ruined fantasy for me. I mean...18 year old me would be all about sex and gore. but now I feel like I'm living in the movie idiocracy. "You like Sex and money? hur hur I do too, we should hang out sometime."(to quote the movie) plots being written for my age group, being targeted for anything has always pissed me off.

but anyway back to fantasy/games, I've played all kinds, the only thing I have never been into is larping and I hope to god I never will be. If I ever do that any of you is authorized to shoot me in not so cold blood. I'll come back to AR eventually, I've just had too much of a good thing for too long and ended up over playing myself I believe. or I'm really going crazy.

Burn out is normal. Take your time away and remember that a sign of addiction is doing something even when you don't want to do it. If you find yourself doing that with AR, try to play some other game for a while to remind yourself that you do this to have fun.

That being said, I liked all my interactions with Wakanashi (from a player perspective. Not all my characters liked Wakanashi haha.) I've been impressed with what you're bringing to the table, even if you are sort of at a burn out point and I'm really looking forward to what you come up with when you return well rested.

There are a lot of books about addiction and the pleasure reward system. There's even a quote somewhere that goes
Not joy but joylessness is the mother of excess
. I'm sure that was actually explaining addictive behavior. Willpower and the use of it has been measurably proven to drain you over the day although the good thing is they say it can be strengthened with use analogous to a muscle if you find yourself spending just a little bit more time in game and getting less enjoyment out of it.

Sunshine bad. I'm taking a break, though I am slightly amused this is being called addiction, which it most likely is.....but teenage me put so many hours into a game that makes this look like a lit match compared to the sun. My definition of addiction is when it interferes with life, such as working, family and such. And I've had that in the past, but not with ar.
