Wreitha hails from the people of the woods in far West Thera. Her people worshiped the woods and believed that all they needed came from those woods. As Wreitha grew older and the expansion of cities and towns started to touch the outlines of her people's lands, instead of shunning the new technologies introduced like the members of her tribe, she embraced them. New weapons, armor, and metals provided with the ability to quickly become the matriarch of her tribe. The elders, or purists did not appreciate this at all and a scheme was formed to murder her. The day that the coup was supposed to happen, her favorite animal the bearwas stalking Wreitha's home protecting it from enemies. As the would be murders attacked, the bear emerged and the fight began. The shear number of individuals attacking soon overwhelmed the bear and Wreitha and soon, they were on the run both badly injured. They seperated and Wreitha ran to the river in order to best hide her tracks. As she crossed the deep waters, she felt a sharp pain in her left shoulder and a moment later something smashed into the back of her head and everything went black. When she woke up, she was on the shore of a river near a gnome village without a clue of who she was, what had happened, and what she was going to do.
Time weathers all things and this passing of time is apparent in Wreitha's face and movements. A long life of battle and non-stop writing has left Wreitha riddled with arthritis and permanently stooped. Her once long raven hair is now shortly cropped and peppered. Her eyes have turned a lighter shade of grey and without focus and dull. Scars litter her entire body and the greatest of her injuries is on her leg that slowly drags behind her as she maneuvers around. Her stomach is pudgy and fat has started to form around all the normal trouble spots for women that are getting on in years. It is plain to see that she was once a beautiful creature, but the passing of the days has left her as crooked as a tightly strung bow. Her skin has grown ashen and it has lost its elasticity and even her Godly inspired tattoo is fading.
