Deep within the mines of Enthema are where the breeding lairs exist for
some of the most powerful mindflayers in the Underdark. After the
destruction and chaos brought down by Burzuk, the race braced extinction,
and only few survived. Brilliance and corruption are two defining factors
for these uncanny creations, and the will of an illithid is considerably the
most wicked. Xrkzix was a product of the Godly forces that brought together
and paired such ill-minded specimins with consuming evil intent. Never
bound by human chains, he brooded his lust for supremecy with his natural
born sense of magical prowess. Over years, he matured his mental capacity
with ominous power in preperation for what was to come. As utter
devastation wreaked havoc upon their covenant, Xrkzix escaped deep into the
belly of the mines, with little chance of survival.
Goooood times. Never played an Illusionist through and through, and obviously not an Illithid for that matter. They are simply wonderful.
Forsaken got dropped on me as a Minion by Cthartu and it ended up being not what I wanted, and Xrkzix was someone who would not be degraded by demotion so this was an intentional roleplaying decision.
By far favorite moment was having 4 Warlords intrude to murder me, retrieving my item back from them twice, then taking out two of them before they all quit together.
Life's just too much right now for me to have another commitment (at least mortals), and even having them around is a temptation to veg out and burn time that should be devoted to something else (*cough* being an immortal *cough*).
I dont really mind if you would rather play than Imm, especially since Warlords is doing fine right now. Also, the webpage is fine. So you aren't missed. Don't take that the wrong way. I'm sure the players are enjoying having your characters around to test themselves up against.
There were two Forsaken for a bit, the cabal was pretty healthy so I was trying to push Darz and this guy to get a little internal war going for control of the cabal but that kind of stuff rarely works out unless a bunch of people's playtimes just happen to overlap a bunch. Most of the time somebody just steps down because they don't want to be a cabal leader anyway.
Honestly, there's a lot of pressure to be a leader, but I feel out of all of it, Legion leaders should kind of have it easy. Watch your ass and wreck havoc. that sounds like what you should be doing. I mean, there isn't as much Legion in fighting now that its sort of a cult... no offense, but I missed the whole, power hungry mob like thing the legion had with protection and what not. I think you should bring it back, since ... well, the only Darkhaven nobility I see anymore is are Mystics...
