Yhraenn was born into a tribal clan near Unsiliel Wood, with indirect
relations to the wild-men and wild-ladies in the area. Her mother was a
shaman, and she was the eldest of three girls. Her father remained distant
from her. All she knows about her father is that he was accomplished at
catching fish with his bare hands. Her youth was marked by periods of
careless freedom combined with the duties her mother demanded. When she was
a teenager, Yhraenn wandered further away than usual from her home and
entered the Fortress of Gasteride briefly, following a pilgrimage of monks
inside. Yhraenn followed the pilgrims into the temple of Rodyn. She stayed
inside the temple for the duration of one prayer session, at the end of
which the priest held out a box for donations of coin. Yhraenn had no
coins, so the priest said she could pay in blood instead. After hearing the
priest curse her, Yhraenn left the temple and came out a changed woman. She
returned home, and then continued to perform her duties for her mother. On
the day of her coming of age at her 17th birthday, the spirits spoke to
Yhraenn. She saw a vision of a hawk screeching above a valley, and her
mother concluded her spirit animal was a hawk. Yhraenn left her home after
that, ready to serve the spirits and Rodyn.
Description:
Lengthy tresses of unbound auburn hair surround this lady's back and
sides. Her face, covered in freckles, is clearly visible. However, this
visibility is only due to the fact that she has put an effective headband
over her forehead in the form of her own hair being braided there like a
section of rope. Her arms, though fair in skin tone, have marks similar to
the freckles on her face. Her legs on the other hand are very long and
remarkably thick. Her midsection protrudes outwards, indicating that she
eats well enough.
