LORNE
A typical giant of the Ford, Lorne had little purpose growing up. He
learned to hunt as all giants did, fighting aimlessly amongst each other.
Perhaps he was forced to fight harder, as with the passing of his father at
a young age, he had no choice but to fend for his own. A deep hateful fury
began to build inside of him, cursing the Heavens for his hardship.
As he grew older, he realized giants were not welcomed by the grand cities
of Serin. With nowhere to turn, he honed his skills alone, in solitude and
anger in the mountains. His isolation became a blessing as his blows became
deadly accurate and swift. His fists, clenched at the heat of battles,
struck down his foes with unyielding power.
Finally upon reaching the city walls after years of training, he longed for
mindless bloodshed but instead he stumbled upon the Warlords. Guided with
the scrolls of the old practitioners of battle, he began to appreciate
respect, glory and discipline in his fights. Blazing through the ranks of
the sacred halls, he became honored as Warmaster amongst his brethren.
As the years passed and the battle scars became deeper, he prayed to the
Heavens for Immortality to ensure the Halls of Warlords will have
everlasting glory under his command. Blessed with eternal life, Lorne now
serves as the God of Fire and Battle Leader of Warlords.
The shrine of Lorne resides in Redhorne Mountain.
