Would it not be cool to know who is online at a certin time? just have to click the whos on button.. that way it would save a lot of people that have multi caras time, for instance, you want to rp with some of your friends, but you dont want to waste 10 mins if they are not on, just click whos on to see, if they are you can log on with the cara that you wanted to rp with them if not you can log with your other.. I see no bad reasons for this unless people only use it to pk, but again they would have to remember names of people in there ranges.. The whos on would just have names and titles not ranks, class or race. all suggestions are welcome.. |

How do you figure when the point of it is to be able to interact more? people talk ooc with there charector because they want to find out stuff, or they just say "In the other realm" |

Legion 1 looks on who list... "Oh a Knight is on! Time to gank!"
Legion 1 goes on aim and tells friend who is Legion 2 "Hey Knight is on, lets go gang up on him!!!"
Legion 1 and 2 sign on to gang up on Knight...
Hrmm... That would just go well... |

Knowing who is on before you log in is something that the game design is very much against, which is why using messenger software and stuff to know is against the rules.
ANyway, consider this situation.
Person A comes on to website. Sees that no one is in his group or pk range. turns computer off. Five minutes later, person B does the same thing. PErson A and B are in eachother's ranges. Under the current system they would now be fighting/ranking/roleplaying together. Now they are not, and there are two less people on that already dwindling who list.

Rather than...
Legion 1 logs on sees knight
Legion 1 ims legion 2
Legion 1 and 2 gank the knight
Hmm, or it could be
Legion 1 looks at the whos on list
Legion 1 sees no knights
Legion 1 ims legion 2 "lets get on our alts"
Legion 1 and 2 play lower level alts...
hmm time saveing prehaps? |

You're promoting OOC which is actually being discouraged... see the problem? Apparently not. If anyone can see whoever is online, then nobody will ever be online because they can know when they are going to get (un)holy gangbang of doomed. Either way both scenarios you posted aren't supposed to happen.
In fact the scenario 2 you posted would never happen. This is what WILL happen instead: Legion 1 sees no knights on, he calls legion 2 and 3 and 4 and gets them to go on Winter trips. |

in response to rayor's post, there are rules against ganking in cabals now.. correct? it has to be even like, if one knight is on and two legions, then only one of the legions can invade |

Actually, you can use two against one.
Unless they are anathema or bountied or whatever then you can use any unholy number you want, unless things have changed extremely recently |

Every cabal sets their own unique policy about this, if you want to know Legions make one and find it out. |
