Sevak couldnt have read his mind and know he is going to rage on full dupes. And its just a level 50 evil being evil. Let evils be evils? Why is the log pretty much trying to do a call out? He's a level 50 evil. Half the high level neutrals attack/steal from Knights all day so there's why you have buff evils quickly arriving at level 50. Go fight evils with your Keepers instead of helping them level
As a newbie, especially walking around in some pretty solid gear, you are going to be a target for evils needing to equip, or just enjoying the thrill of a kill. You need to learn to defend yourself, otherwise this will be the outcome most every time. Perhaps do more friendly duels to try and learn the ropes

if the illusionist comes in spamming dispels you could just flee him to death and get free rounds in. Otherwise flee after the round passes so that he can never dispel you or rescue himself. This is a flaw in illusionist that i pitched a new skill for in patch threads
The only objection to this kill is the sacrificing of items. That's a dick move in this scenario. Save the full loot-->sacrifice for cabal warfare or your archest of arch enemies, or if the guy tried to gank you and you slay him instead. A silent, no-rp kill is already bad enough.
Its really fun to "g all corpse" and then spam "sac 1.". Immensely stress-relieving. There's nothing more satisfying than a full loot. I think the level of investment on smuggler gear is stupendous to the point it kinda makes you feel bad you did it. But its not a discouraging factor for evils. Evils dont want to feel good. Evils want to feel evil. Which means condemning it actually rewards the behavior.
