posted on 2021-02-11 06:13:35

Comments

  1. Zero interaction with Gwevym
    Zero interaction with Ocelia
I tried to convince Kali to simply surrender than get hunted, Kali told me he did not like being an outlaw. Clearly his feelings changed.
And Ilromie was flagged because I logged in and was hidden and saw him attack Dogran.

Just call it what it is.
    1. That's not true. You attacked me on the eastern road without warning the first time I ever saw you. I didn't do anything wrong or out of line here.

Speaking on my feelings as a player and not as Gwevym, I feel kinda bad, if I'm being honest. That's rough man. But AR is a cruel place, and you act the hard ass and play the drow rogue justice then you're going to reap the consequences.
    2. Well I highly doubt I attacked you, because after attacking Baloth and getting my ass kicked paladins are just stupid to fight. My guess is you are confusing me with Chasmyr. But who cares right its just words on a screen.
    3. The record shows Chul attacked Gwevym on Jan 31 in the gnome village. Also, Kali/Ilromie are obviously repeat offenders.

The one that raises the most concern for me is Ocelia. That character looks like part of lynch mob that just went with the flow. As a scholar with no precedent (unlike Gwevym) that looks really bad. Kali/Ocelia characters are otherwise only further highlighting why illusionist have a well-deserved reputation of trashy behavior. Any time you are logged on at 50 with an illusionist online you should always assume theyll try to gangbang you with full dupes
    4. I act the hard ass? By making fun of a knight who crusades against me but won't actually carry it out? What does that have to do with any of you. AR is only a cruel place because you guys make it that way. If your justification for leading a four on one is because I attacked you on the eastern road once, which i didn't by the way because I would have gotten my ass kicked and definitely wouldn't have attack Baloth knowing how strong dwarf paladins are. The only reason I attacked Baloth was to get a feel for it since I never fought one. Unless I am confusing my paladins, CHasmyr killed you because you were afk. If Kali and Ilrmoie hate the law so much, I have yet to see Grimple or any other justice get the target of something like this. Why is Ocelia so quick to jump in? You sold my blackened fingernail to an evil warlord, im just confused why some evils get a free pass but you guys are so willing to go after me.
    5. Chul
      0 , 1 , 0 .
1/31 was the day Ilromie and Kali decided to go after me and Solmundi, I guess that burning hatred boiled over after 10 days. How did the fight go? One round of me getting my ass kicked and running away?
    6. I think the concern for me is my suspicion that some of the people involved permagroup and that's completely against the rules. I don't plan to change a single line of paladin code or adjust any cabal entrance requirements over what looks to me like a permagrouping issue. Not going to punish everyone for the actions of a few. I think you guys just need to file reports on people who are permagroup until they magically go away.
    7. For sure, permagrouping is not coming hot off of adventure with a bunch of in-character friends and deciding to stir the pot on an old feud when a drow leaves himself vulnerable. I feel like you are encouraging people to pursue out of character solutions to in game problems. To that end, Chul, I'd encourage you to discuss internally with Justice who else had had "this sort of treatment". Not everything makes it to the logboard and when you join a cabal, you inherit all sorts of baggage. I assure you, you aren't unique. Well maybe a little since you kept your defenses down while I was right there buffing all of us and then ran back to town after we jumped you instead of licking your wounds and playing it smart with us. I wasn't with this part because I was circling around to see where you might hide. Wish I had been there to see the end.

What you do have right, Dav, is that there are a few borderline characters in here. The neutrals (in both ethos and align) have the benefit of both sides, but in any given situation only one side can have those benefits. I can't blame them for wanting to follow in my footsteps and backing me up when I get into antics. If you disagree, make a character to change their minds, that's what makes their role so interesting. But I won't stop inciting rebellion (in this text-based game as evidenced by the above log, big brother), so they will be influenced whether you are there or not.
    8. I beh called out desk lumubella fer deafs and dehn tell gwevym hims a soft hanned dwarf who never pick up a ammer er deh pick axe ihm no try gang bang me.
    9. Also non finking design paladin dwarfen beh dat strongs finkikg dehm all die deh sames
    10. I was just joining in for the fun because Ilromie was doing it. Ilromie is my friend, and I stick up for my friends. Plus the way Chul was acting in front of the Arena wasn't something I liked.
    11. It’s true, I’m not chaotic at heart so I don’t enjoy being wanted or outlawed but I’ll be damned if I will just stand by and watch Ilromie get wanted/hunted without helping her. Chul the character is an opportunistic aggressor who hides in town/guilds to avoid attacks. This is a great way to play but it will draw enemies. I don’t know for sure who the player is but I have nothing against you at all. This was something that developed very quickly in game through in character interactions (ie we initially just went there to watch a duel, and things escalated quickly). I haven’t met grimple before, but I do have a very bad relationship with Solmundi.
    12. So, HELP PERMAGROUP says. "You should not share who you are playing with anyone. " That's there specifically to try to *prevent* permagroups from forming. Creating characters with basically the same familiar name over and over runs obviously against that. Its the sort of problem where it seems like the entire imm staff has fallen on their collective asses, failing to succeed at the most basic of tasks - a simple character rename - and instead takes scholars around gangbanging Justices, Legions, etc for full loots.

      I liked this quote:
"Speaking on my feelings as a player and not as Gwevym, I feel kinda bad" ..

That makes sense, because this is an egregious gangbang. Its embarassing. It should be embarassing but instead its like, just post the log and be proud of what you accomplished. He writes "You should be honored to have a HGOD, because its rare". Even his own groupmates dont really feel much into it. Somebody needs to tell this guy brawl day is once a year or something
    13. You're not wrong Dav. Just like back in the day if I was running from a fire giant that started with "Ug" or any necomancer that started with the letter "R" we know who the character is, but this more a symptom of a low Pbase than a permagrouping issue. We want to fight and go on adventures, etc instead of being lonely. When you have such a small selection of possible allies, then those are your allies(especially for lightwalkers). You build relationships IC with those people(friend, lover, mentor, enemy, etc), and when they die and want revenge you want to support them IC. It feels like permagrouping because its the same four or five people and the ONLY four or five people you have to interact with. In this specific situation, the target added fuel to the fire by acting like a jerk IC. If it were me i'd be forming an evil coalition and taking them all down, but that might not be an IC option for this character.
    14. I only said that you attacked me to call out that you were lying. I didn't intend for it to be any kind of anything else.

I also want to say that I do not communicate with anyone outside of game, let alone about in game characters. I try to maintain mystique about who I am, but like others have said, the pbase is small and the 'guesses' are limited until you eventually figure it out. Some players are more obvious than others, I don't know where I personally fall on the spectrum. I think it is a rule of respect that you should simply not try to divine who is who. That being said, I don't believe I fall within any kind of ooc permagroup. A benefit of being a good aligned character is that you easily make IC friends. Some of those friends can even be quite active, so you see them frequently.

There are certain benefits and certain cons to playing an evil character. Same as for playing a Justice. Combine them and things get dicey. Chul is top pk rated, has been very active, has upset people because of him being an evil justice. He has behaved in such a way, both in and out of game, that has been basically a call out, saying that he's going to continue being an ass (I use this as a IC description of an evil justice, coming from a good character. It is a description that any good character would use for basically any evil justice.) and if someone wants to kill him so bad they can just break the law and do it.
Well, someone broke the law and did it.

What I am saying is that you cannot gain the benefits of being a drow shadow justice without also accepting the cons.

We all know this is essentially the first time Justice, and Chul, have ever been on the bad side of these things. Normally it's the band of misfits getting strung up on north square and full looted. Finally they got their revenge and immediately there are those who call foul. Just because you lost, doesn't mean you were cheated.

One easy way to avoid HGODs is to play a gnome. Or hell, play a Noble Scholar lol.
    15. New goal unlocked! Make a gnome so detested it gets HGOD'd by both sides.
    [reply to Chul]
  2. Brutal! Darn good aligns are worse than the evils!
      [reply to Zanward]
    1. I'm not sure what the most fucked up part is. That you are literally proud of a 4 on 1(I'll point to where your first line says. You should feel honored!) Or that you felt the need to post it. Both are pathetic.
      1. I posted so there is something to look at. Other than the Chul vs Wuran log, there hasn’t been anything for a week. Logs are fun to read.

No, not proud. I didn’t say “look how awesome we are”. I said he should almost feel honoured because HGODs are rare since people aren’t usually famous/infamous/strong/feared enough to warrant one. To have so many people after him, and willing to be flagged (and eventually killed/full looted for certain), means that he as the character was doing something right/noteworthy in a pk or rp aspect (or both).
      2. Yes you did. You literally did. You posted it on the log board? How is that not "look how awesome we are" You did not say it. You acted it(actions speak louder than words)
      3. I post logs of my deaths too. If I was posting with the intention of showing “how great” I am, why would I do that? I post logs so there is content to look at, for better or worse. I could refrain from posting anything but really straightforward 1v1 logs though if that’s what people would rather see?
      4. You do what ever you want. Post 1v1 or 7v1. But when you preface with "you should feel honored" to get grouped on by 4 people. I'm going to call you pathetic. Everytime
      5. Maybe I should have thought more carefully about the wording and preface.

Since this doesn’t happen very often, I also thought it might be nice to have a chance for a “debrief” to talk about how this event was the result of IC interactions with the character (nothing to do with the player). Will there be IC repercussions for those involved? Maybe? I would imagine the other justices might hold a grudge again people that would strike down one of their own in town.
      6. Well you went about it 100% wrong. It's been said a million times OOC does not reflect IC. You cannot post something OOC and expect IC changes. So even than. You are going about this incorrectly
      7. Feels wierd responding as a character lol. I didnt want it to seem like I played Chul with the way I am reacting. So I am posting as the character I was playing and I'm actually in the log too.
      8. Sorry Lanadrah I was making hasty posts this morning but I should have taken more time to come up with a better post.

The main reason I posted this was to give Chul (the player) a chance to talk and to stress to him (the player) that this was all about in game interactions and relationships between the agressors and with the character (Chul). I (as a player) like Chul (the character) a lot.

The next reason was for content - something to look at. When we are sitting around wondering six months from now who the last guy to get an HGOD was, we will remember it was Chul.

If posting this makes me look bad, I will fully accept that if it also helps Chul understand this was about the character, not the player.

I'd be really happy to discuss the in-character interactions more in-game.
      9. Dont word salad after the fact. You posted this because you were excited. You can tell by your words. You can say what ever you want later on. But you said it in the post. Your words. "You should feel honored" as davairus said. This is an embarrassment. Just own it.
      10. Please detail the in game interactions that would lead 4 people to attack one person, ill wait for the posts here.
      11. Nice vulture by the way.
      12. OK so Chul you rolled an evil ninja justice so thats going to bring out the hate. Its a hate magnet really. You can't really complain about that. Ninja Justice that sat in town flagging everybody from hidden and only fighting people when they're weakened can't act all "surprised pikachu" about this. This was inevitable.

The issue here is not really whether they have an "RP reason", its that this isnt really ok, and we have to stand up and say it isnt. Its a toxic environment, obviously. I mean I'll just speak for myself. I wouldn't want to be associated with these guys. I wouldnt want to fight these guys. Where does that leave things?

That being said, its the paladin in that group that failed the hardest. He's behaved completely derelict of any sense of right or wrong IMO. He got attacked on the eastern road, what, a week and a half ago? That's not a reason... its an excuse. A paladin leads the group's RP. If its going wrong, he's got to say "this is wrong". Its not true that nothing can stop that group raiding a guildhall and killing a Justice. He can stop them. He can do it by just sitting on the ground. He didn't do that. Nobody else in that group has any reason to believe they are doing anything wrong, because that paladin's presence provides powerful endorsement, and silence provided his consent and approval. This paladin disclosed publically that he thinks a 4v1 gangbang and lawlessness is an appropriate response for being attacked on the eastern road. That wasnt about fighting tyranny or anything lofty like that. It was just vindictive. It was retribution for a personal attack. That's dark-knight territory. "I didnt do anything wrong..." he writes. That's what a dark-knight would say. A paladin must instead bear full responsibility for what his group did. The paladins actions needed to be guided by the higher power he serves. That goes double for the oath of protection paladin. He is not showing any remorse IC. I think it would be better paladin if he chose to actually listen to the feelings instead of ignoring them. those feelings are providing guidance
      13. Chul
        0 , 1 , 3 .
Still waiting for the in game justification for the 4 v 1 Kali.
The whole surprise pikachu ended after Ilromie was flagged 10 days ago, I made a decision not to be a dick and to be completely honest I was hoping Dogran would instigate not Ilromie. So since that fight when ever I have been on, I have been visible. This was vindictive, but for what purpose that is what I want to know.
      14. you wont get more than what I said. Its completely on the paladin
      15. Please Dav do not misattribute the logboard to being IC. Especially when you pick and choose which things you want to count as IC and which things you do not.

I did say that he attacked me on the eastern road, in response to him saying he’s never seen me before. I was letting him know that he was mistaken and stating a falsehood. I even clarified this in a subsequent comment. I never said that that attack justified my actions, I never used it to do that and in fact I even directly stated that I didn’t intend for it to be a justification of any actions. So you’re reaching. Also, remember that these things are being said on a logboard and are clearly and obviously OOC.

What I find interesting is that you have apparently changed your opinion on the situation. Saying before,
“As a scholar with no precedent (unlike Gwevym) that looks really bad.” – Davairus comment 1.3
This is in direct contradiction to what you are saying now. That is fine. You are allowed to change your opinion/stance whenever you want, we all are. But it exemplifies, in my opinion, the difficult nature of defining the morals and ethics of the events that transpired. Seeing as how opinions from the outside can be formed and changed and reformed over the course of 24+ hours, it is not so hard to expect that decisions made in the moment were lacking foresight, deliberation, and obviously the clarity of hindsight.

Having said all of that, I will not defend my actions anymore, but I will not “plead guilty’ either. What happened, happened. The consequences of it have begun, but have likely not ended for most of the characters involved, Gwevym included. I will face them, whatever they happen to be. If they come from Immortals/Davairus then that is a decision that they have to make.

I will say that I have not particularly enjoyed the experience (a tragically common theme among my AR experiences, and yet somehow it remains my favorite game lol, go figure) but have learned from it. I am unlikely to participate in anything similar in the future, across any character.
If the consensus is, as I believe Dav is beginning to imply in his comment, that there needs to be a rule established, then perhaps that is a good thing. Direction can often be good, if it is not too encroaching.
      16. Chul
        0 , 1 , 1 .
What consequences are you going to face? You paid off your wanted flag. You think shitty gang bang is going to change anything here? You led a 4 v 1 gang bang and expect me to say oh thank you sir may I have an another it was such an honor to be killed by you and your friends? You sure as shit seemed to enjoy posting my sword for 75k and selling and sacrificing my equipment. Give me a break
      17. Chul
        0 , 1 , 1 .
Still waiting Kali for the ingame justification
      18. Less whining, more in game revenge please.
      19. Everybody in that entire group looks pretty bad. I was merely pointing out who came out of that looking the worst, and how that is because of the effect their presence in the group actually has. Its pretty straight-forward.

The paladin helpfile says this: "Paladins are noted for their chivalry, kindness, generosity, mercy and honor." with "Paladins of any level who fail to roleplay properly may be outcasted."

The oath of protection also says this: "they must treat others fairly" with "be very mindful of your oath at all times, regardless who you are grouped with and what their agenda is. The oath always comes first.". with, again, "Failure to uphold the paladin oath will result in OUTCAST".

It looks a bit hard to argue the point after carrying out a 4v1 gangbang IMO. Anyway, we need to rely on paladins playing responsibly because its a very powerful class. Right now that's all I want to say about it.
      20. Sorry for the delay Chul - I've been at work today and haven't had time to write out a detailed post. There has been a lot to go through here and analyze.

In-game justification from Kali's perspective: You put Ilromie on the breaking wheel, twice in one night. I tried to break her out from prison by killing the guard but that didn't work out. You killed Kali when he was outlawed (had to go through a guild guard to try to get you) but he could get over that. He can never unhear Ilromie's screams on the breaking wheel, though. Too bad we have to talk about this here on a log board instead of let this RP flesh out in game. That would have been great. It doesn't matter that this was 10 days ago. It could have been 100 days ago. Pain like that does not heal quickly.

Let us establish something that I think is being misconstrued here. This was absolutely not a rampaging death squad. This was a group of IC friends that had just finished a very long adventure, who went into Seringale for some entertainment (to watch some arena duels). While there, they witnessed Chul (who was a mutual enemy) insulting another of their IC friends (Lumubella). We absolutely did not walk into the juggernaut with any intention of killing you. I wish my buffer was longer so you could see everything. As we stood there, we deliberated over attacking you. We purposefully prepared all of our duplicates and put up all of our spells right in front of you (probably took 3 tics?). This was just a little bluster. I wanted to see if you would get a bit intimidated and call a guard or go into a guild or quaf a defender. You didn't do anything, obviously thinking that we were no threat at all and that you were perfectly safe in Seringale. That was quite perturbing and that confidence helped me make up my mind "He thinks we are too scared to attack him in town?".

Proof that this was not an indiscriminate marauding death squad: We didn't attack a single other person, nor was there any talk of attacking a single other person (e.g. Borgharv) - it simply wasn't even considered at all. This was an adventuring group that spontaneously decided to take down the evil justice that was too confident to even walk away or defend himself.

Is Chul a victim here? I suppose the character is a victim of four in game characters teaming up on him, but he is far from an innocent, defenseless babe. He is an above initiate cabal member in the strongest cabal, and ranked #2 on the ratings. This was not a brand new player that just hit 50 after 15 hours that was steamrolled by a group of seasoned veterans. Whoever you are, you're a good player and you had a chance to survive this.

Are there already in-game consequences? Yes. Ocelia, Kali, and Ilromie are all wanted. That's a death sentence. At some point, we will all be killed and full looted. You know this, we know this. We accepted this when we decided to attack the overconfident drow.

Will there be other in-game consequences? Probably - I don't know yet. That will be determined in game. Unfortunately a lot of the players reading through this thread will have developed opinions/feelings about characters based on what they have read that will bleed into in-game interactions.

Davairus you have a penchant for publicly discussing things that could really easily be handled in private. You know that I'm easy to reach, always open to talk, and happy to work things out. I've never made a character with the same surname for the purpose of 'Oh this is such a great idea, now ramod will know it's me!!', it's more for roleplay (backgrounds for all Windbreeze characters in the works, two finished already) and maybe a whiff of 'come at me' (although I seem to be pretty shitty at this game now, having the lowest rating out of everybody).

As for the comment about 'you should almost be honoured to get an HGOD, they don't happen that often' - who was the last person you remember getting an HGOD? Who was the person before that? How about before that? This doesn't happen once a day, once a week, or once a month. Something this brutal probably only happens a few times a year? The only one distinctly coming to mind for me is the one on Taere (shaman justice a long time ago). Chul (the character) pissing off enough people to the extent that they would willingly get wanted (and subsequently killed and full looted) is quite a feat and puts him in the small group of people who have ever been on the receiving end.

Long story short, there was nothing OOC or pre-meditated about this. Adventuring group turned into an HGOD for a specific character (not player) for various reasons and it ended exactly at that (there was never any risk of this being a murder squad).

These ~50 posts are a big part of the reason I posted this log. As I said, HGODs do not happen often, and I felt like this should be discussed to give people a chance to have dialogue (from both sides and from outsiders).
      21. And what was my response to you from the time it happened until yesterday? I specifically told you I didn't want crimes to continue. And you agreed you didn't want to be outlawed. I told you to surrender to the fucking executioner because then at least you might get some items back. I explained to you what happened with ilromie, that shit isn't my fault he attacked dogran in town when I was there. I told Ilromie his actions get people killed. I thought we had an understanding, I knew you and Ilromie were going to attack me sooner or later and I was fine with it. What made 0 fucking sense was having the other two in it. What you did wasn't in defense of ilromie, you wanted to is to fuck me over and the surest way to do it was get as many people as possible and to me thats fucking low. Could I have fled and quit out yes of course I could have. But in that moment I was so disgusted with all of you that I am like fine you want your pound of flesh here you go. This whole evil justice you automatically get hate is a bunch of bullshit, because I guarantee if some loser legion logs in and starts kicking your ass you will happily sit in seringale taunting him to go after you. Which is exactly what I was doing to Lumubella, which had nothing to do with any of you. To me thats where you guys went OOC, he's a knight if he wants to exterminate me so badly he will. If I can bait him into attacking me in town thats a win for me because I have the advantage. He didn't bite, just like me fighting a geared out paladin and realizing this iteration of paladins is bullshit and not worth fighting. So yes I will stay in town looking for an advantage. When you say I pissed off a bunch people really? Isn't Lumubella capable of fighting her own battles? The shit you four pulled is fucking weak and had no justification in game.
      22. (removed)

        THIS COMMENT HAS BEEN REMOVED.
      23. To be fair, he was most likely high when he rolled it.
      24. And its not a death sentence, just do what glorbag did, duel thoom to the death, lose on purpose and keep all your eq. Fucking sad
      25. Chul, you're right. It is interesting that it took the noble scholar to attack you in town when the Knight had a crusade. I wonder if there's something more going on there...maybe...some roleplay you were not privy to? Stop assuming OOC, getting mad and ranting on the logboard and start pursuing answers to your questions in character. I think you'll have a much better experience overall.
      [reply to Lanadrah]
    2. This is the response when you are hated this much IC. Take it as proof that you're doing a good job being an evil bastard. They took what they wanted(Your life, and gear) and now they have a death sentence of a flag hanging over their head. As a player, I feel a gut punch whenever I see someone get hosed like this. But as the character, you reaped what you sowed. You acted like a proper bastard, and talked enough shit to everyone IC to earn the righteous gangbang. Now use this fuel IC to provoke more conflict.
      1. This is exactly where you are wrong Lumubella. Calling a Knight out for a Crusade that can patiently wait it out is a conflict between you and I. 4 v 1's are now supported because you attack someone 10 days ago once and that is enough justification to get 3 other people? Because a scholar who in my mind is here to document events doesn't like that I am talking shit to a Knight? That is enough of a reason? Kali already defended Ilromie and died for it, Ilromie died for it. Nothing has happened since those events 10 days ago. These 4 people took me out for what reason exactly? you all call me cowards for hiding in town, pretty brave thing to go 4 v 1 right? This is Permagroup ooc to the max. Why don't you guys log into your alts that are opposite align and balance the game out a bit. The best thing from this Log is Lumubella didn't participate, the only player here who actually role played. You feel guilty about this "HGOD" because you know its a bunch of crap and the 4 of you wanted to trash a character,
      2. Chul, theres some good RP going on behind the scenes that you can't see involving this and im hoping that this event is a catalyst for more. I was happy to see so many evils at 50 on during this and was really hoping for an all out brawl but only got a 1v1 while this went down. IC I can see Ocelia supporting Ilromie in her revenge against the establishment. Not really sure what Gwevym's involvement was but looks like you attacked him. Also calling out and shit talking someones friend IC probably added fuel to the fire. I feel guilty about any "HGOD" because there is no sense of fairness in it, but thats a part of the game. I've gotten my own before, and i'm sure i'll be getting mine on Bella. I like the direction your character has gone in from my OOC perspective, stick to it. Take your lumps and get them back. Going to be a real sticky situation for all involved when the good align justices have to hunt down a bunch of goodies. I'm looking forward to it.
      3. "I was happy to see so many evils at 50 on during this and was really hoping for an all out brawl..."

ME. TOO! When I saw Ilromie buffing everyone, I started buffing myself waiting for the inevitable meteor swarm. Difference here is I think the goodies (other than you) were already grouped and waiting to nail Chul. Then you got peeled off, Gwevym shield-slammed Chul, and by the time I was whispering to him that I could help him, he was either sleeping or already dead.

Lots of active evils and goods right now. I'm sure the big brawls are just over the horizon.
      [reply to Lumubella]
    3. Everyone here is so upset about HGODs and OOC that we're missing the real content of the log here:

      >Ocelia's blast of wind mauls Chul.
      >Chul is DEAD!!

      Chul got farted to death.
      1. Wow, I missed that, I love it!
      [reply to Xerties]
    4. As someone who's always been pretty vocal about my dislike for drow ninja's being justice, this makes me smile.

But I feel for you Chul. No one likes getting ganked and full looted. Honestly though, you ran and hid inside your guild? Like... wtf? Obviously that isn't going to stop them, especially if they've got dupes. lol. Still you almost could've gotten away, but the summon into shield slam, into illusionsts. Ouch. No one can survive that.
        [reply to hamsandwich]
      1. I would recommend you start thinking more than 10 days back when dealing with the Polymath of History. 5/5 would hgod again.
          [reply to Ilromie]
        1. Ocelia superb role play as a scholar - I don't like what he said
Ilromie superb role play as a scholar- I'm chaotic only when my friends are on
Gwevym - I don't really have a reason as to why I led the group
Kali - Still waiting on the in game interactions
          1. Chul - whiny bitch who won't shut up about dying one time after playing a drow shadow justice that camps inside guilds all day and actively calls out people to break the law and attack him.

I get it, it sucks man. Everyone sucks. AR is a game of a bunch of dorks pretending. People are gonna do dumb shit. Literally everyone has died and been full looted. Not everyone has been HGOD'd. Could've worn it like a badge of honor. Instead you throw a fit and make yourself look silly.

Guess I can't blame you. I look dumb all the time. I'm literally a "lil one piece of ham on a sammich no condiment having ass missing the cheese and everything"
          2. You are tunnel visioning.

There is nothing wrong with Ilromie or anyones RP except the paladin, which is very obviously wrong, and we really don't need any more discovery, because like I told you already, its besides the point. You can't like, break the game permagrouping rules egregiously, and then issue an RP reason like its going to magically go away. Rules first, RP is then allowed within the allowed boundaries that were set by the rules. You have not filed any formal complaint about the rules and its against the rules of the logboard to post call outs, so infact, you are breaking the rules yourself posting that here. And contributing to a toxic environment yourself here

            TLDR: NO REPORT, NO ACTION
          3. Chul
            0 , 1 , 1 .
Wait let me get this straight, you want me to file a report about them permagrouping? Fuck that this is your game and your rules, if you find someone breaking it you deal with it. Thats not my problem. I don't even care about them permagrouping, I whole heartedly expected Kali and Ilromie to try and gank me which I would have been fine with because Kali already rped his stance on protecting Ilromie. My issue comes from the weak RP from the paladin and Ocelia. If you want to outcast the paladin for leading a gangbang, thats bullshit. If you have a true problem with them about the paladin rp and the permagrouping, handle that shit in game. I dont post my comments to involve you to make changes because from my experience that never happens. I post here to tell the people I think what they did was weak, no rp, and contributes to a game that isn't fun.
          4. I am confused by this. Let me explain why. "I don't even care about them permagrouping, I whole heartedly expected Kali and Ilromie to try and gank me which I would have been fine with because Kali already rped his stance on protecting Ilromie."

Now, "Still waiting for the in game justification for the 4 v 1 Kali."
"Ocelia superb role play as a scholar - I don't like what he said
Ilromie superb role play as a scholar- I'm chaotic only when my friends are on
Gwevym - I don't really have a reason as to why I led the group
Kali - Still waiting on the in game interactions"

All I see here is more whining. It's ok though Chul I get it. All your whining makes you the diet coke of evil, just one calorie, not evil enough.
          5. No - I want you to raise the rule you think is broken via proper channels instead of the juvenile logboard callouts. I dont care which rule you think is broken, but you should have reported it there, not here. Nothing you are doing is helpful. They are literally just calling you a whiner. If that was your goal then keep going I guess.
          6. Chul
            0 , 0 , 1 .
So I did that in game right when it happened, one immortal said meh basically, I reported something else no response. You have had ample time to respond on the log board, I have been on all day today and you didn't say a damn thing to me in game. You said the gang bang is egregious so I assume from an rp stand point they shouldn't have done it. You called out the paladin to the point where in my mind you think he should be outcasted. My question has and continues to be why they did it and I would like an answer from them about it. I don't care that you said I won't get an answer I can keep asking the question why.
          7. Chul please scroll up and read my really long post.
          8. thanks ill find it later and follow up with you there

        2. I am just going to point out what was already mentioned here. All of this was initially started by me, and the shameful behaviors aside, it is hilarious. I had no idea the far-reaching effects that baiting Ilromie into attacking me would be. It was just a fun ending for me. Of course, having seen Ilromie wanted several times, I KNEW she had a grudge against Justice when I started this. When Kali showed up after I got Ilromie wanted, I totally expected them to pile on ME, not the justice. Hilarious, thanks for the entertainment keep it up!
          1. Not really. This is about a grudge that goes back at least 6 months. Sorry this one isn't about you, Doggo.
          2. When I said all of this was initially started by me, I meant the events surrounding Chul. You would not have picked up the grudge right in the middle of fighting me, had I not of located his stuff, and lead you into town to get wanted. All I am saying, my plan was the long game, and it worked.

All this other stuff? I can take no credit for it har!

        3. You got waxed by a bunch of people you pissed off. Deal with it. If people randomly log at the same time and group, on a regular basis, is that against the rules?
I remember when I had Uvet(several chars really), when I logged on half the time it was multiple people coming at me... I died sometimes because of it. It sucked. When I logged in with Krite one time there was 7 goodies, who all wanted me dead of course. They were probably gear hunting, since I was able to wait out quit timer. Literally about 1.5 seconds after I was able quit, like 5 of them walked onto the Legion path. Wasn't anything personal. I pissed them off. They just wanted me dead.
But I've sure as hell never gotten on a log board and complained numbers coming at me. I'll take my lumps and move on.
Remember, you are in a cabal that ganks people when they piss off your justice rules. You don't see people whining about Justice permagroups. You're friends with the justices, of course you're grouped with them. Kali and the others are friends, of course they are grouped too. That's a no fuckin brainer.
Based on the oath of the pally at hand, maybe some recourse comes from that? Other than that I don't see a damn thing wrong with this gank.
Side note: seriously proud you didn't pull the delete card again. And that's not a backhanded compliment at all. You should stick with your chars. So thumbs up for that.
Sorry for the ramble, been enjoying several beverages on my day off. Cheers and good night.

          1. I would like to throw something into the midst of all this. I understand that facing multiple opponents at once and losing can be irritating. It can also be irritating when things are not played out In-Character through developed RP. It should be the duty and responsibility of any individual to enjoy the character to the fullest here at Abandoned Realms, but everyone should understand that Roleplaying is enforced, and that Playerkilling is encouraged.

The more effort we put into our characters the more we all win, and the goal should be to obtain longevity. Not just on an individual basis but for the life of the community as a whole in how we interact with one another in and outside of the game. Everyone wins, and everything can be handled quite easily In-Game, for better or for worse.

When you feel emotion, you can mold and shape that into something beautiful through the character. Use the tools In-Game to place complaints, but more importantly use YOUR mind to go outside the box and stir that character into an interesting direction.

I've witnessed a lot of potential get thrown to the wayside over the years, including many of my own characters. Let's get back to enjoying what we love.

                  Problem solved.
                  1. Run things like a US middle school. Bullies and the bullied all denied. AR is zero tolerance.
