<SCHOLAR> Serra: A message from your servant
Thu Apr 22 22:43:38 2021
To: Kedaleam
My dear Lord Kedaleam,

Long have I been your humble servant. I have tried to guide those around me
toward leading peaceful, fulfilled lives, such life as the element of Water
has always instilled in me. Toward the end of my days I have entrusted a
number of lost souls to your care. It is my strongest hope that you will be
able to guide the darker of them toward the Light, and to hope, and
salvation.

I am sorry sir, for I will not be able to serve your grace much longer. My
mortal frame grows weakened with age, though my faith has only ever grown
stronger. Without you I might never have rescued Markus, nor returned from
Acadia with such understanding of Serin and its place in the greater network
of realms.

I cannot say I understand the Law much better than I did as a young girl,
for the more I read of it, the more complex it became. I am sorry that I
have failed in that while serving you.

There are things in Serin I shall never understand, but I realize now that
no mortal should know all things. Instead, it is the not-knowing, the
mystery, that has thrilled me many a time as I explored these lands.

And so I would feel at rest knowing I have not learned everything, so long
as I know that I have served you as well as a simple giant could.

Yours in devotion,
Serra

[Exits: east]
A beautiful fountain gushing water flows here.
An elite storm giant stands here protecting the territory.

A peacemaker longsword pierces into the ground nearby with Kedaleam attached to the hilt.
Kedaleam sits down on the ground.
You bow before him.
You say 'Greetings, my Lord.'
Kedaleam says 'Well hello.'

You say 'It is wonderful to see you.'
You rest.
Kedaleam says 'You as well.'
Kedaleam says 'I've read your scroll.'
You nod.
Kedaleam says 'In what way have you become weakened?'
You say 'I am simply aging, sir.'
Kedaleam says 'Becoming more wise, some might say.'
You chuckle politely.
You say 'The wisdom within me is that of others. I have been blessed to know many.'
Kedaleam says 'Wisdom, nonetheless.'
You nod.
Kedaleam says 'And you've acquired it, through your travels.'
Kedaleam says 'And interactions with others.'
You say 'Such chances have been the joy of my existence.'
Kedaleam says 'Do you feel the element of Water has been a good fit for you?'
You say 'It has always comforted me. Since a child I felt a natural affinity for it.'
You say 'It flows within all of us, providing us with our vitality.'
Rhoa tells you 'Hello, my friend!'
You tell Rhoa 'Greetings, Executor!'
You say 'Once Wylsin told me that it is also the most dangerous element.'
You say 'For it can wear down fortresses over time, and cannot be stopped.'
Kedaleam agrees absolutely.
A harmless butterfly flies in.
Kedaleam looks at a harmless butterfly.

Small but beautiful wings extend from its minute body, splashed with colour
and patterns that are like none seen anywhere. As it flutters around the
wind picks it up and drifts it southwards, its goal to fly north made forever
impossible. The soft beating of its wings is no match for the power of the
stormy breeze and it is strewn around wherever the gale decides to take it.
A harmless butterfly is in excellent condition.

You smile at it.
Kedaleam smiles happily.
You say 'That butterfly reminds me of myself, a bit.'
You chuckle politely.
Kedaleam says 'Just floating around the world?'
You nod.
Kedaleam chuckles politely.
You say 'When I was a young girl, all I wished to know was where I came from.'
You say 'I never did learn it, but I learned so much more.'
Rhoa tells you 'How have your studies been coming along?'
You tell Rhoa 'They are winding down now, I think.'
Kedaleam says 'Do you still seek out the puzzle?'
You say 'I do not know where to look any longer. I have met almost every storm giant in the lands.'
Rhoa tells you 'Oh? I believe that is the first time I've heard you say that!'
Kedaleam nods.
You tell Rhoa 'Indeed, it has been a long and busy road.'
You say 'I suppose some questions are meant to be left unanswered.'
Rhoa tells you 'Typically you delve into your studies with such conviction, I think that you will never cease them.'
You tell Rhoa 'It is true, I often get quite carried away!'
You say 'My Lord, have I served you well? I feel I only did what I knew to do, but often did not know if you approved.'
Kedaleam says 'I approve of you, fully.'
Kedaleam says 'I wished to take care of something I had been wanting to for a while with you.'
Serra's eyes shimmer a bit with unbidden tears.
Kedaleam says 'You've represented my ways as well as anyone could've asked.'
You kneel in front of Kedaleam humbly.
Kedaleam says 'So whether it's only for a moment or not. I have to do something.'
You say 'Your blessing is all I need, my Lord.'
Kedaleam says 'I can't have you go at any moment, without knowing how well you've represented it.'
You are hungry.
Your hunger injures you.
Kedaleam stands up.
Kedaleam utters the words, 'qcandusahz yaae'.
A magic mushroom suddenly appears.
Kedaleam sits down on the ground.
You get a magic mushroom.
You bow deeply.
You eat a magic mushroom.
Kedaleam says 'I know it's not a donut.'
Kedaleam says 'I didn't stockpile.'
Kedaleam coughs loudly.
You chuckle politely.
You say 'Do you stockpile donuts?'
Kedaleam says 'When they are fresh, I like to grab a few handfuls.'
You say 'Oh!'
You ponder the question.
You say 'I wonder who makes them.'
A fluffy donut is carried by Vikka the serving girl
You boggle at the concept.
You say 'Vikka!'
You boggle at yourself. Hmmm...intriguing.
Kedaleam says 'She sells them, for sure.'
Kedaleam says 'I don't know where they come from.'
You say 'Ah, more mysteries of Serin!'
Kedaleam says 'Or the ingredients.'
Kedaleam winces in agony.
You ponder the question.
You say 'They do sell edible curiosities in that tavern.'
Kedaleam says 'The Traveler's Rest has a... body... of odd delicacies.'
You say 'Or odd delicacies made of bodies...'
Yuck, try to cover your mouth next time!
Kedaleam agrees absolutely.
You say 'Cookies with eyes...'
You groan loudly.
You say 'I met a young Warlord who enjoys eyes, for some reason.'
Kedaleam says 'Or the crackers...'
Kedaleam shivers uncomfortably.
You say 'I ought to send her some as a gift.'
Kedaleam chuckles politely.
Kedaleam says 'Odd.'
You nod.
You say 'She said Vlad's tasted like tomatoes.'
You grimace painfully at the thought.
Kedaleam says 'I imagine the texture is similar.'
Serra turns a little green.
You say 'Have the Justices been well, sir? I have not seen Llloyied or Solmundi in some time.'
Kedaleam says 'They are a bit absent.'
You say 'Llloyied once entrusted me a staff for safekeeping, but unfortunately a thief stole it.'
You sigh.
Kedaleam says 'A few new applicants have been around.'
You nod.
Kedaleam says 'So I'm hopeful. Oddly enough things seem relatively peaceful.'
You say 'So they have.'
Kedaleam says 'Then again, I don't see everything I suppose.'
You say 'When I have been about, it has been only occasionally Dogran on his hunting sprees.'
Kedaleam nods.
You say 'He still attempts to reign in terror, though his followers keep losing their way.'
You ponder the question.
Kedaleam says 'Perhaps it is his leadership, or lack there of.'
You say 'He has been speaking to me, privately.'
You say 'The first time we spoke was because he wished to "duel" me. I offered to learn about his story instead.'
Kedaleam says 'And he spoke of his desire to be a Warlord?'
You say 'And so he told me of his youth and how he came to join the Legion. I do not think he had ever spoken of it before.'
You let out a hearty laugh.
You say 'A Warlord, sir?'
You say 'I fear that was never on his mind.'
Kedaleam says 'I mean, he wanted to duel you.'
Kedaleam chuckles politely.
You say 'I assume that was simply his pet name for death at his hands.'
You say 'He said he has had dreams since he left his village, of standing in darkness and being filled with a power greater than his God.'
You say 'The last time I saw him, he told me he recognized something connected to me in it.'
You frown disapprovingly.
You say 'I believe he wanted to change me.'
Kedaleam says 'He is likely wishing to, yes.'
Kedaleam says 'Forces like him use trickery and deceit.'
You say 'I cannot deny I was tempted by the academic curiosity of such a thing.'
You say 'Lord Davairus asked me once to query the public on their opinions of the definition of Evil.'
You say 'As I wrote my own response, I realized I did not truly know anything about Evil.'
You say 'But I asked my mentors and colleagues, Wylsin, Lumubella, and Ilromie - they all declared I should be cautious.'
Kedaleam says 'It can overwhelm you.'
You say 'And I cannot go against the will of the one I love.'
You nod.
You say 'Still, the way to peace, I think, is mutual understanding.'
You say 'Such is what I wrote, and Rhoa said it gave her food for thought.'
Kedaleam nods.
Kedaleam says 'I imagine it did.'
You say 'Although such food pales beside the Holy Sandwich of Ceridwel.'
Heh.
Kedaleam chuckles politely.
You say 'It was while thinking on such things, on temptation and truth that I wrote the book of teachings from my mentors.'
Kedaleam coughs loudly.
Kedaleam says 'I never did ask, is that something you wanted?'
Kedaleam says 'Being an adept, that is.'
You say 'Oh!'
You say 'So I am!'

Kedaleam mulls over the idea at hand. Please be patient.
You say 'I... am honored sir!'
You say 'I have learned from Lumubella and Alkas that adepts are meant to carry out the directives of their Gods.'
You say 'Is there anything you would ask of me, sir?'
Kedaleam says 'I don't ask anything of you at this moment.'
You nod.
Kedaleam says 'Different gods may request things of their followers.'
You say 'I understand.'
Kedaleam says 'I know you enjoy projects though, so I'll have to think of something.'
You agree absolutely.
You say 'While you think, I will work on a Book of Water.'
You smile happily.

It starts to rain.
Serra watches the rain pattering on the grass.
You drink water from a celestial fountain.
Kedaleam smiles happily.
Kedaleam says 'Does Acomas give you a form of comfort?'

Many years on the battlefield have brought this warrior of the Light little
reward or material gain and in his elder years he has returned to the town
of his birth to live out the last few of them in peace. In honour of his
many unsung deeds the mayoress of the town has granted him a small patch
of land to tend and he resides here carefully sculpting it. From soldier
to gardener, this man retains even now the fighting prowess of his youth.
Acomas is in excellent condition.

Kedaleam says 'Or were you just down here for a drink when I came?'
You let out a hearty laugh.
You say 'I was exploring.'
Kedaleam chuckles politely.
Kedaleam nods.
You say 'It was a suitable place though!'
Kedaleam says 'A beautiful place it is.'
You nod.
You say 'The one who has given me the most comfort I think is my teacher, Korvoduin.'
You say 'His presence is very calming.'
Kedaleam says 'He helps the citizens of Seringale quite a bit.'
You agree absolutely.
You say 'So many patients.'
Kedaleam says 'I always wonder how he doesn't become so overwhelmed.'
Heh.
You say 'He delegates work to us trainees, that we might learn to be as proficient as he.'
Kedaleam agrees absolutely.

<MYSTIC> (Oracle) Ocelia: 'Hello, Serra!'
<SCHOLAR> (Doyenne) Serra: 'How have you been?'
<MYSTIC> (Oracle) Ocelia: 'Pretty good.'
<SCHOLAR> (Doyenne) Serra: 'I am glad to hear it.'

You say 'I wonder... do you know what happens to us when we pass on? Sir Alkas said the Spirit continues when the body can no longer.'

<MYSTIC> (Oracle) Ocelia: 'What of yourself, besides what you mentioned in your note?'

[ 67]: <SCHOLAR> Serra: A request
Fri Apr 23 04:44:53 2021
To: Ocelia
Dear Ocelia,

As I grow old, I feel my strength waning. Soon I shall no longer have the
energy needed to visit Acadia. It comforts me that there are those who
might carry on the care of it, and of the visitors in my garden. I am glad
to have come to know you, dear. Your curiosity for writing lores and
exploring the far reaches of Serin reminds me of my mentor Ethaac and my
younger self.

I have but one request to ask of you, and that is to pursue your dreams, no
matter what life throws at you. You shall find them waiting there, past all
of the clamor of the day-to-day. When I was young, I hated sitting still
and training to clear my mind. Markus and Korvoduin both would attest to
it. But in my elder years I find the stillness is where the greatest ideas
make themselves known. I believe you have such seeds hidden, should you
simply shine a light on them for them to grow.

Warmly,
Serra

Kedaleam says 'I like that thought.'
Kedaleam says 'Though I'm not sure if anyone really KNOWS.'
You nod.
Kedaleam says 'To know, would be to pass on.'
Kedaleam says 'We would need to speak to someone that has come back.'
Kedaleam says 'And even then, what would you remember?'
Kedaleam says 'Would you remember?'
You nod.
You say 'It is a question for the ages.'
Kedaleam says 'Sort of THE question.'
Kedaleam says 'Really.'
You say 'I have been imagining it might feel something like when I stepped into the darkness in Acadia.'
You say 'All senses, all connections, suddenly severed.'

<SCHOLAR> (Doyenne) Serra: 'I have been well. Spending time the best I can.'
<MYSTIC> (Oracle) Ocelia: 'Aye.'

Kedaleam says 'Perhaps.'
Kedaleam says 'So you were at least aware of the seperation?'
You say 'Perhaps, like in Acadia, all of our memories are consumed and reformed into the new consciousness.'
You say 'When I stepped through there, I knew I was leaving all of my friends behind. And I felt the loss of my senses keenly.'
You say 'It shocked me then, how still everything was.'
Kedaleam nods.
Ocelia walks in.
You smile at her.
Ocelia says 'I hope I am not interrupting anything.'
Ocelia smiles happily.
You say 'I am imagining what the afterlife might be like.'
You chuckle politely.
Ocelia says 'Oh my.'

<SCHOLAR> Xerties the Sage: 'The winds welcome your return, Varliv, Supreme Magistrate of Serin.'

Kedaleam chuckles politely.
You say 'It would be a beautiful thing if we could remember all the lives we lived before.'
You say 'But perhaps it would throw off the balance of Serin.'
Kedaleam says 'And what of the lives that were tough to live?'
You say 'One might learn from them, and grow stronger.'
Kedaleam says 'You would hope so.'
You nod.
You say 'I do.'

<SCHOLAR> (Doyenne) Serra: 'Greetings, Lord Varliv!'
<SCHOLAR> Varliv: 'Alo der.'

You say 'Ah, my Lord, there is one thing...'
Yuck, try to cover your mouth next time!
Kedaleam nods.

Kedaleam chuckles politely.
You say 'But rest assured you are the only Immortal I worship sir!'
Kedaleam says 'He certainly did, didn't he. With the favor that is.'
Kedaleam says 'There is no issue with it.'
Serra heaves a sigh of relief.

My dears,

I have found a potential way to halt the aging process during my research.
I have been working upon a book of the various forms of Water as a gift of
gratitude for my Lord. The third chapter, on Rivers, brought me to the icy
river in the Barren Wilderness, at the end of which rests Britus, the Cleric
of Storms. Like me, he is a storm giant. And yet he has rested there,
ageless, for a thousand years. Perhaps I, too, may learn such stillness,
and enter stasis, rather than succumbing to mortality. But he does not
speak, and the circlet upon his forehead does not share its secrets.

When I must part, I will attempt to meditate there. I pray that my learning
will be enough. I fear what should happen if Alkas's beliefs were misled,
for my Lord himself said none have ever returned from the Land of the Dead
and remembered... The thought of parting forever from you, and the world we
inhabit, fills me with too much sorrow.

to him. He just wanted to improve himself or try a new weapon or a new

find new challengers to test against.

Dear Senol,

I have found a few small errors in your background. If you would be willing
to fix them, I may approve of it swiftly. They are:
- In the first line, it should be "he has gotten into fights" not "his has gotten into fights"
- In the third line, "every day" should be two words, not one

I often think back to the shattering. We had no warning, but we should
have known better. Such is the result of pretending to be gods, leveraging
the powers of the forbidden to attain an artificial strength. The world
will always bring things back to balance. Well, we paid the price for our
hubris. Oddly enough, there was no blood.... A flash of light, a massive
explosion, and nothing else but the scorch marks and rended earth. Somehow
I was spared. Was it fate, coincidence, the whim of the gods? I cannot
say. But from that day on, I developed the resonance... And understood the
cry of the world.

I have ever since been trying to develop a way to counteract the godlike
powers of those who bear the relics of the gods. I keep telling myself I
have faith in the balance the world brings us to, and also faith in the
limitless potential of our indomitable will. Since puberty I have been
honing my body and mind to its highest possible potential. I have attained
several plateaus but believe there to be peaks of human development I have
yet to even fathom. My current efforts have lead me to the Grandmaster of
Monks and I adapt his teachings to my own.

tonsil stones can be seen nearly overcoming your sense of smell. His tongue
is blanketed with white bacteria and fungal spores. With each breath a
smell of sulfur and almonds escaping every orifice from his body as if he is
deteriorating internally and externally. His broad shoulders compliment his
large hands with an elongated thumb nail on each hand. His nose appears to
be badly broken and his cleft lip is brought together by a large bronze
ring. In an effort of pure sadism a small vial of holy water hangs from his
belt and slowly drips on his foot burning a hole with every step he takes.

Wylsin says 'The same Markus we healed a short time ago?'
You say 'He taught me to heal, as he is a healer himself. Before that, I was in a circus, and before that, simply a village girl.'
You nod.
You say 'He and I have a long history.'
Wylsin says 'So it would appear.'
You say 'But he seems to have forgotten me... since the curse.'
You say 'Even with its undoing, he no longer speaks my name.'
You sigh.
Wylsin says 'Such horrible illnesses can deplete the mind.'
Wylsin says 'I would not take it personally.'
You say 'I fear sometimes that it was the pain of the Esuna that drove the memories from his mind.'
You say 'Those screams...!'
You say 'But it cannot be helped, now.'
Wylsin says 'His mind already appeared to have left him, from my perspective.'
You wince in agony.
Wylsin says 'Do not blame yourself.'

<MYSTIC> Wylsin NEWBIE chats: 'Salutations Keriel. Should you have any inquiries regarding these lands, please do not hesitate to posit them in this venue.'

[KEEPER] The Balance prevails within the four kingdoms.
There are 5 characters on; the most on this past month was 13.

Keriel NEWBIE chats: 'Evening, and thank you.'
You smile happily.
You say 'I spoke with Keriel previously.'
Wylsin says 'Ah, excellent.'
You say 'I told him about the Consortium and offered a couple books.'
Wylsin nods.
You say 'He said perhaps someday he should like to become a Mystic.'
Wylsin smiles happily.
Wylsin says 'I would be pleased to aid in his education.'
You dazzle Wylsin with your smile.
You say 'He does wish to learn how to be more effective with his spells.'
You say 'You will be the perfect teacher.'
Wylsin blushes.

>>> Keriel asks a question about armor.

An Immortal NEWBIE chats: 'The affects of armor class are something that is an ongoing process of being fleshed out. Likely not for you to worry about, but one day there will be a caster class very sensitive to losing concentration.'

You say 'Ooh.'
Wylsin frowns.
You say 'Intriguing.'
Wylsin says 'Very, though I do not relish the idea of reconfiguring my wardrobe.'
You say 'They speak of "a caster class". Not all?'
Wylsin says 'I think they mean that those guilds who cast spells, and I would presume commune them, will be more susceptible to losing their concentration if encumbered by heavy armor.'
You say 'Ahh.'
You say 'That will make things quite interesting.'
Wylsin says 'Although.'
Wylsin says 'As I reflect on the Immortal's words, it could be that they meant there may come a specific guild that is vulnerable to such things.'
Wylsin says 'So closer to your original interpretation.'
You say 'That was my first thought.'
You nod.
Wylsin says 'Perhaps the fabled Psionicists.'
You say 'If I should live to see one someday...'
You say 'Alas, I fear I shall likely not.'
Wylsin says 'Why do you say that?'
You say 'I have been feeling my vitality draining of late. I believe it is a malady inherent to Storm giants.'
You say 'The scrolls say we were not born to live peacefully, though I have embraced such a path fully myself.'
You say 'The experimental ritual I spoke of earlier, is something I hope may halt or slow the aging process.'
Wylsin sits down and thinks deeply.
Wylsin says 'That is a most distressing pronouncement.'
You nod.
Wylsin says 'I should like to aid you in this research with all possible determination.'
You say 'It took me several Renewals to come to terms with it.'
You chuckle politely.
You say 'It is a secret held by Britus, the Cleric of Storms.'
You say 'Somehow, he has managed to live for a thousand years.'
You say 'But he is in stasis, in the icy river of the Barren Wilderness.'
Wylsin sits down and thinks deeply.
Wylsin says 'I wonder if I could thaw him out.'
Wylsin conjures a flame in his palm.
You wince in agony.
Wylsin says 'I am quite attuned to fire.'
You say 'You are indeed, sir!'
Wylsin says 'What further information do you require to complete your tome?'
You say 'The other chapters before me, I have planned, are Lakes, Oceans; Clouds, and Mist; and several forms of Life.'
Wylsin says 'I should like to provide additional information with the greatest of haste before your aforementioned malady progresses any further.'
You say 'You are very kind, sir.'
Wylsin says 'Does your ritual involve attempting to revive the Cleric of Storms?'
You say 'I have only imagined mimicking his meditation, in hopes that it may put me in such a state.'
Wylsin raises an eyebrow.
You say 'If only he would speak.'
Wylsin says 'That seems hardly better than the alternative.'
Wylsin says 'Do you not have any further information regarding the malady? Perhaps it can be reversed entirely.'
You say 'At the least, it would allow me to remain in Serin, and not pass on.'
You say 'All I know is from the scroll, and the weakness I feel sometimes.'
Wylsin sits down and thinks deeply.
You say 'Perhaps in dormancy, others may be able to discover a remedy.'
You say 'But I fear the longer I stay vigorous, the more the weakness advances.'
Wylsin says 'I find that arrangement wholly unsatisfactory. I would not abide casting you into ice in the vain hope that some future adventurer may find a way to not only halt your malaise, but also revive you from the cryostasis.'
You chuckle politely.
Wylsin says 'Not when I am here now, and with the full resources of the Ivory Towers.' <- Oh, Wylsin...
You say 'What would you suggest, sir?'
Wylsin says 'Directing research toward the immediate problem, rather than a stopgap. A stopgap that itself is highly uncertain as well.'
You nod.
Wylsin says 'Unless entering this stasis is your true wish. In which case I would not presume to debate your desires for your own fate.'
You say 'It may be my only option.'
You say 'But I will try anything.'
Wylsin says 'Have you uncovered any of Britus's writings?'
You shake your head.
You say 'I have only seen how he rests in the river.'
You say 'He carries a circlet of river water, which I examined, but it told me nothing.'
Wylsin says 'That may shed light on the matter. We may be able to continue his research and discover a remedy for you both.'
You nod.
You say 'Where might we find such writings?'
Wylsin says 'That is the first question to be answered.'

Wylsin says 'The codex says the following about Britus, the Cleric of Storms:'
Wylsin says 'Britus, the Cleric of Storms, presides over the end of a river in a
tranquil fringe of the Barren Wilderness. He is a storm giant of far
greater years than any other of his species. This longevity may be a result
of attaining enlightenment through his clerical training, or perhaps an
external magical origin. Over his thousands of years of meditation, his
form has almost melded with the landscape such that moss crawls over his
feet. Yet his robes remain surprisingly pure and clean.'
Wylsin says 'Britus, the Cleric of Storms is immune to: summon charm.'
Wylsin says 'Britus, the Cleric of Storms is resistant to: negative.'
Wylsin says 'Britus, the Cleric of Storms carries 'Angelus', the Sceptre of Divine Virtue.'
Wylsin says 'Britus, the Cleric of Storms carries a circlet of river water.'
Wylsin says 'Britus, the Cleric of Storms carries a long, brazen dagger.'
You are filled with primordial erudition!

Wylsin says 'Oh.'
Wylsin says 'Do you know who penned this lore?'
You ponder the question.
You say 'It does not seem to say.'
You say 'I know Ocelia wrote several in the Barren Wilderness. Perhaps she was the author.'
Wylsin says 'I shall inquire with her when next I see her.'
You say 'I believe I will take a brief rest, and then continue my work on my book, until we may be able to speak with Ocelia.'
Wylsin says 'There are indeed few Storm Giants in the lands.'
Wylsin nods.
You nod.
You say 'I have seen a young one, Adurant.'
You say 'And there was a Duke, but he frequents the lands rarely.'
Wylsin says 'Very well. I shall consult my own library, and begin what research I can.'
You say 'Thank you sir. Your aid is most generous.'
Wylsin looks at you.
You smile at him.
Wylsin attempts to put a hand on your shoulder, but can't quite reach, so settles for your wrist.
Wylsin says 'We will find a solution to this.'
You say 'I trust you.'
You smile happily.
You now trust Wylsin completely.
You unleash Wylsin's hidden potential.
Wylsin smiles at you.
You say 'Until we meet again, my friend.'
Distant crackling is heard as faith and energy is channeled.
A nimbus of white light appears upon the ground.
The nimbus of light encases you.
