Market Square
You are at the Market Square of Seringale. There are tons of people
just going about their day minding their own business. Most of them just
brush past you, busy with what they are doing, while some bump into you and
leave your pockets a little lighter. It is a wide square with lots of space
on all sides. Empty streets extend in all directions around you, and for
some reason they have all been blocked off by a chain link fence.

[reply to Ozaru]Yeah I posted the log with a little bit of spice because I was Deathmarked for no reason. I've posted logs that I've won and lost without such commentary, so don't throw shade at me for no reason like that. I didn't remove any of the tells/says to try and make either party look better. IMO this is a pretty cut and dry instance of someone overreacting to a duel and the fact that you're going to the mat for them is very telling.
The player in question has a long history of deleting after very minor inconveniences and then unjustly raging against the playerbase as a whole for conspiring against him. The fact is they're hotheaded and unwilling to accept consequences for their ingame actions. This is despite the fact of many other players professing no ill-will against the player. Rather, they are reflecting the ingame actions of the characters. Almost to an individual they give props to the character, lament the delete, and say they look forward to the next one from the player in question.
Finally: I had no idea who the player behind the character was before any of this went down. I honestly have no grudge against Ozaru. From what I've seen his only fault is these sort of rage deletes instead of seeing through the results of his RP (that is RP through PK, which is mostly fine). I haven't seen any evidence of rule breaking or other unsavory ingame behavior. I think that if he could overcome the rash decisions (deletions) he'd have some of the most memorable characters in the history of the game.

calling bullshit on this 30 hp mana loss. that's what, 44 total rounds he can tank before he is out of mana? this is ridiculous. no wonder they are soloing winter. The mana loss here needs to be 4x higher to be even close to the typical duration of a level 50 exchange. to be able to get there would require that the barrier mana loss is equal to the damage taken - PRE sanc - and blocks damage before defense checks are made, which is what is making the gnome particularly efficient at this

Aside from being stuck in one room for the duel they won by being able to flee to gain distance, healing aura, and then wining by attrition.

[reply to Davairus]You're also over stating your case with Invokers 'soloing' Winter. From what I've seen, there's been one Invoker to 'solo' Winter over the course of several hours. I don't really see that as a problem. If someone wants to spend hours and hours doing PvE that's really up to them.

Granted the first few rounds it was not possible to tell whether he had mana shield or barrier up, but since he is a gnome, it would be a decent bet to gamble on barrier. According to helpfiles, tiger stance would grant Norkana fire resist, and the high damage needed to try to out-dps Wylsin since a Market Square duel is just about who can last the longest toe to toe. I wonder why Norkana decided on monkey stance there. Serra 0 , 0 , 0 . Oh, I see, chance to avoid spells. But the low damage from monkey stance probably doesn't make up for it in that scenario. (So many helpfiles to remember, I don't know how you monks do it!)

Miltiadhes 1 , 0 , 0 . Not everyone knows or cares who you play ozaru. I don’t think you had to delete. I think this could have started some really cool animosity between warlords and the consortium or at the very least a grudge between Norkana and Wylsin. There could have been some fun fights and some great RP. It looks like Davairus has your back so I doubt there actually would have been any repercussions from the death mark. He probably would have said something like “go get him tiger”. Ozaru

I spent a great deal of time looking for him and trying to get him to fight me. I found him once he worded away and his again. I wasn’t worried about anything in warlords in game the fact he sent a note to get me kicked out and posted a log to embarrass me just turned me off. This guy wasn’t trying to rp anything it was clear what he was trying to do. Tearea 0 , 0 , 0 . Umm, he probably picked Market Square because we had done it before as a way to level the playing field for an invoker fight. Actually pulled a draw until the wildfire killed me. [reply to twerpalina]1. First interaction I ask for a duel he says no I say fine. - My mentality is he is an invoker, most likely he will lose. So when he asked me to duel I was a bit shocked because I never pressed him on it and was fine to never duel him.
2. When he picked market place full disclosure I didn't know it was basically a no exit room and even if I had I wouldn't have changed the venue because my history with warlords was if I initiate the challenge you pick the battleground. More of an unwritten rule.
3. So im in the 1 room, i Haven't had much success with barrier being blwon up by chii bolt so I opted for monkey after crane in hopes of just outlasting him and healing, but obviously that didnt work out.
4. For you to stay you didn't know it was me and this wasn't personal I think you are lying, in fact my belief is you are one of the warlords. Of course I could be wrong and if I am the intetion was to win the duel on your part and to my character in game I thought is was dishonorable to pick a battle ground like that. If you notice I didn't death mark you right away I thought about it for about 10 minutes and weighing the rp options. So I went with the mentality that you did it on purpose which you know you did. You created an unfair advantage for a win you didn't earn. Maybe some warlords want the iphill challenge
but for that to be our first duel with no real interaction in game I thought it was bull shit. End of story.
