      If the wildfire is intentional, is there a way to code it differently for arena duels so it just stuns, instead of killing? For instance, this particular battle would have been a tie and both stunned, instead of Szrevan getting barbequed after I was stunned.

      The persistent wildfire thing has been "bug reported" at least three times, both by the invoker and the guy who died. That one has caused outrage. The bugs are closed with comments like "AOE spells have repercussions" but we do strip heat metal, plague, cause continual, among others. That may be the only spell in the game where you can literally die and still kill somebody

    Good fight Szrevan. Other than 3 energy scrolls, this was a toe to toe fight. To the death I would have fled and went for more energy scrolls, to the stun and so close of a fight, I said to hell with it, I'm all in!
    I think a well equipped and prepared invoker is a tough matchup for most.

      Good show for sure. Was surprised to see forms activating since the invoker had weapon ward up? For some reason I thought weapon ward and combat style superiority prevented them, but that could just be my old brain.

        To the best of my knowledge, weapon ward hasn't ever prevented combat superiority, although it does (or did) protect vs hobbles. We moved some of the stuff onto protective shield for streamlining reasons.
