  1. I've always thought failed berserk lag was way too long. I also believe it should have a higher success rate while raged(maybe it does)?
    1. I think its a risk you take when you pick that kind of a class... many skills aren't totally reliable. You can always play a spellcaster and just cast frenzy
    2. or play a dwarf with 100% berserk, or just master berserk on any other race?

  2. Chose to opt for 1 button win condition and paid for the cheese. Berserker has similar skills to Warrior to simply just outplay them with combat advantage and hobble and save rage for the finisher.

    1. Yeah good luck doing that vs szrevan. I’m quick but I’m sure his aliases are faster (and he has more experience fighting like that). Not to mention fighting that way opens you up to ice attacks.

      Through analyzing this log I think my main mistakes were:
      1 - trying to berserk in combat to heal 95 hp and get an extra attack - that cost me severely. I doubt I’ll ever berserk during combat again. Much safer to get some space then do it. It’s a painful decision to use this since it chews through so much movement. It commits you to the fight (but if I’m going to rage anyways I may as well berserk first).
      2 - I wasted my totem (in guild). I should have saved it and placed it somewhere where I could stand beside it (was doing this in earlier fights).
      3 - I could consider a different combat style to go into rage with. I’m not sure if sideswipe would be as devastating as overhead. I would lose some damage output (which is why I dual wield) but he might lose some also by losing his cobra strike.
      4 - He was lagged shortly before this from failing berserk but I was creating space because my purple was fading. I could try harder to secure longer auras (ancient potion) so I don’t have to be so conservative. That seems like a lot of effort though so I’m not sure if I’ll pursue that or not.

      FYI analyzing logs and trying to figure out how to improve is a great way to get better at pk. I highly recommend it. Ultimately battles have a lot of luck in them (I failed berserk, he landed 3 oblits) but that’s only part of the puzzle.
