  1. This was my first time overseeing a fight and it was riveting! Although apparently I broke the focus too soon. I just thought it polite to not snoop after affairs. Live and learn!
    1. In fact, picked a good one. This was one of the closest fights I had!
    2. Overseeing was one of my favorite things about being a Herald when I had my first real Herald. Not everyone allows you to watch, but if you get the right person it can be an almost literally eye-opening experience. I used to oversee Xenyar when he was playing Valox, and he would cause my heart to start racing. He played AR with the same intensity I would expect out of a first-person shooter, not a text-based game. (Of course, there's a difference between simply playing a game and trying to do something more intense in it... I used to attempt speedruns in levels of Chip's Challenge, which meant tapping the arrow keys really fast... Some of the PKers like Xenyar seem to turn AR into an experience with more action and less quiet observation in the style of Myst and Zork. I don't know what the current FPS games are, though I imagine the Call of Duty franchise is still out there... No idea if anybody's really doing anything with Doom either. I am more used to Wolfenstein 3D on Death Incarnate level when it comes to intense FPS games, which shows my age lol).
    3. Indeed, indeed! It was quite exhilarating. There are some thing that come across far better while overseeing than in a log. Seeing the timing of movement, tracking, fleeing, and commands was exhilarating!

      I’m not asking for a buff, szrevanOOC. I’m asking if something is broken. Regaining 8hp with fast healing while awake and out of combat would be really low. Health regen while raged, fighting, by a totem is usually a lot better - just wondering if recent berserker bug fixes had an impact on health regen somehow. It could be totally possible everything is working fine and it’s possible to get that low even with all the buffs due to the nature of RNG.

      Again, not asking for a buff. Go back to your cave.

      Is that the move? If you get a zerker down low-ish, they rage, you get them down again, do you flee and wait? Or do the heal so fast when not engaged you can't do that?

        That could work if the berserker lets it work or if you have them trapped (like fighting a warlord berserker in a fixed area like the arena).

        There are also ways to prevent the berserker from raging like poison or slow.

        Dispel attempt was a good choice. If that dispel landed, Skeggi likely would have wound up eating his own corpse.

        Tough to say! It sort of depends when she flees. If she was that close to death I probably would have gone south and slammed murder. If she fled a lot earlier I would have run away, rest up, then re engage later. In the former scenario (both very low) I would not stick around or chase for long. If go south->spam murder a bit didn’t work, I’d retreat right away. There is always the chance she’d follow me and finish me off - just the risk you run (and part of the fun).

    2. In fact, I had considered running out his rage a little, but after seeing this log, I'm glad that I didn't. Looks like he healed over 400 hp on the initial rage and only got docked for 115 when he snapped out. With his natural regen + bear trophy (the above-noted 8hp bag rng gain aside), I doubt he would have snapped out to a stun.
      1. Makes sense. I thought he might have snapped down within hellstream death range. But I have no idea if you could track and time that (I know I couldn't!) Or how much he'd heal.

        What unfortunate timing for sanc to drop! I wonder if one more hellstream could have done it.
