You can buy pets at various pet stores. Only one store-bought pet may be owned
at a time, though it is possible to buy a new pet later. You can order pets to
perform actions such as stand, emote, rest, rescue, and to attack creatures.
They may also open doors for you, and carry some belongings. Keep in mind,
however, that pet inventories are destroyed when you quit.

To replace a pet, you can simply buy a new one in the store. You will be required
to confirm the purchase, but will not be charged twice.

The following command list applies ONLY to store-bought pets:

pet stay - makes your pet stay put
pet return - calls your pet to you from any area (if it's alive)
pet score - detailed information about your pet
pet commands - actions you may order your pet to perform
pet name - decide your pet's name
pet desc - modify your pet's description
pet inv - view your pet's inventory
pet list - display all your stored pets
pet dismiss - store away a pet
pet summon - restore a stored pet
pet resurrect - bring a dead pet back to life (must be in your temple)
pet terminate - destroy your pet permanently (in temple, pet must be dead)

All store-bought pets start out at level 1 and can reach a maximum level of 30.
The listed level for each pet in a shop denotes the earliest level that you can
buy that particular pet. A pet will only gain experience if it is lower level
than its owner. Store-bought pets may be given as gifts under some circumstances.

There is no experience penalty for having a pet, a mercenary, or a class-specific
charmie in your group nor for solo players.

Coals that are barely a glow are set inside eye sockets sunken into a
thick mishapen head. The area around his eyes looks black and burned, the
skin cracked revealing molten underneath. His cranium is missing a portions
of itelf. The hair grows funny around the patch of skin and seems ready to
fall out. His muscular neck and body are tanned from years of sun exposure.
Both hands have an insignia burned into the tops of them, the skin boiled
and crispy looking. Many bones seem to adorn his waist, giving him away as
he clanks around the room. His abnormal feet point outward and seem to have
twelve toes each. A mystery how he manages to balance.
He has unlocked many secrets of the world.
