    2. Jin had 15 wins with only 5 losses to Vok. I’m not good at math but according to the logs posted, Jin dunked him the majority of the time when in Tenor. I guess the gear did make all the difference.
      1. I think warriors scale better with gear than just about any other class. That fourth attack is nasty.
      2. Jin didn't use tenacity at all in this log. I wouldn't say this makes a good example to compare against the rest.

        Vok you won because you are a great fighter - plain and simple. Your use of your ranger skills and weapon switching are impressive. In this battle, yes my equipment does not compare to yours, would our fights be much closer if our equipment was on the same level maybe. But isn't that the point, if two people are equally skilled and the difference is equipment, you would think the person with better equipment should win.

        Just because I beat him early with better equipment as he was learning his ranger skills doesn't mean he should always lose.

      5. That's a little reductionist, Rathkran. It's probably a confluence of factors. Vok's improvement, the loss of eq, and maybe a bit of burnout on Jin's part. And it looks like Jin edited out her 'battle stance' from the aff checks, so that's probably why it looked like she didn't have it up when it was. That's fine, strictly speaking cabal powers aren't supposed to be broadcast, even though this particular one is pretty common knowledge. But it also means you can't fly off the handle when somebody seems to think it's not applied.
      6. When you have an immortal saying things outside of the game that are not true it has an affect. What vevier kept saying about warlords was untrue, uninformed and affected me in game. And rather than take responsibility for their actions more OOC call outs occur.

        Blame me all you want, but we all know you habitually delete after getting looted, so...

        This crap right here is why I am not enjoying this game. This is an ooc call out of the player behind the character from an immortal. So tired of this type of treatment.
      7. I take it personally as well, Jin. Its sour grapes though. Someone dominates at a high level their class/cabal/gear must be OP. A lot of people couldn't beat you, myself included. Its shades of jealousy. Throwing shade is a natural response. For my part, I struggle with a lot of fights, specifically ones where weapon-swapping is involved due to how the monk class is designed(lose empowerment when you burn chii to keep up with swaps.) You did everything right, and the only reason you weren't leader is because I snuck in before you. Chin up.

        Vok is a great fighter and both my matches against him have come down to me getting lucky with guessing correctly on weapon swaps. In equal gear though, you win this fight.
      8. My concerns with the balance of warlords had nothing to do with any player or character. It has everything to do with my concern that favoritism was being shown to the cabal by the games Implementor because he's the one in charge. Probably unintentionally, because we are all human and have the same proximity bias.

        EQ disparity may be the reason why Warlords look OP at first blush, but its worthwhile to take a step back and make sure that the game is still fair, once in a while. These things usually come to light when we have a powerhouse.

        Unfortunately, it seems that highlighting the places where I thought the imbalance might lie has come off as insulting. For that, I am sorry. I would have been happy to be proven wrong with out the ad hominem attacks, but civil discussion wasn't in the cards this time around. My goal was ultimately to make you guys look badass again, cause with the skill level present, you don't need these extra buffs.

        and no Mogu, warriors don't scale with gear as much as many other classes do, paladins, dks and berserkers can snowball with proper gear way harder because of their inherit damage boost goes up by percentile, warriors are just flat scalers. Also you can do just fine on a warrior vs other fighters using 0 rares and just some gambled shit, Ive proved it several times when I lost my set.

      Objectively speaking, having actually played a Warlord, I can say that too many people have this crazy idea about how OP Warlords are simply because they see few snippets from lucky procs or whatever.

      Please go and read through Szrevan's logs for some data. In majority of fights, there was perhaps 1 or none combat superiority "special attack" and that's even when I have superiority up at 90% of the time.

      Yes, in a couple of fights, you can get all the stars to align and hit two cobra strikes or whatever, but you are so eager to forget how much of a disadvantage it is to have tenacity on low mana pool classes so that you're unable to catch ticks with sleep like every proper elite player should be doing nor you can just duck out of fight (quaff recall all day every day lol) when RNG doesn't go your way and trust me, playing something like a warrior is all about pulling that slot lever and hoping you get those 2nd/3rd/4th attacks actually popping out, otherwise you literally hit like a shaman. This was my main grief about this design, warrior gameplay is fueled by random hits either happening or not, makes or breaks way too many fights even if everything else is done correctly.

      Berserkers have much easier time with mania to be reliably hitting extra attacks. I'd NEVER roll a war over a berserker again if i'd ever play.

      So tl;dr you have unreliable random form procs to counter-balance the inherit randomness of fighter classes for a cabal that can't just "Reset" fights at will like every proper vet is doing. This seems fair to me, no?

      Perhaps the naysayers should roll up a Warlord themselves and see how OP they feel?

      Because right now, there seems to be a lot of assumptions based on very little data.
