The Great City of Mahn Tor has been home to many a legendary fighter
whose feats of strength have brought glory and honor to the Minotaurs of
Serin. It was destined that Borgharv's name would join this list of fabled
fighters. Born of noble stock and strong lineage, Borgharv's imposing
presence was noted while his horns were still only nubs. Indeed, all
indications suggested Borgharv would carry the name of Mahn Tor to lofty
heights... Until the visions came.
At first, they struck only in slumber. Borgharv would awake howling on
starless nights, shaking with fear from the terrors that plagued his dreams.
He dared not speak of what these horrible visions entailed. Over time, he
learned to compose himself upon waking so as not to arouse suspicious that
the prodigal bull could feel such debilitating fear. But soon, Borgharv's
horrific visions flashed across his waking eyes. They once struck in the
midst of combat, causing Borgharv to crush the skull of his
long-time friend and training partner. There was an ordeal, but Borgharv
managed to convince his comrades that the battle-rage had taken him.
Restraint would be a primary focus of his training from here. This
fabrication served to bolster Borgharv's reputation, but the young bull knew
what it meant. The visions were getting worse.. How long could he ignore
them, let alone keep them secret?
A few years after the first incident, Borgharv's combat class was sent out
into the Barren Wastes to bring back the head of the White Yeti. Amidst
tracking the beast, a blizzard overtook the hunting party. Tracking became
nearly impossible, but the hardy minotaurs pressed on, hoping to catch the
White Yeti off-guard. Amidst the howls of white ice, Borgharv heard sounds
of a different nature... A choir of nine voices, calling to him from the
storm. Reality distorted, and the moment Borgharv's ears perked to catch
the discordant sounds, he had lost track of his comrades and any sign of
their intended direction. The young prodigy, alone in a torrent of white
storm, decided thus to follow the voices... To the mouth of a cave.
Borgharv never spoke of what he saw in that cave. Years later, when
Borgharv returned from the Barren Wilderness, his comrades barely recognized
him. Aside from the caked gore and ghastly features, his horns were more
prominent than ever, covered in malicious runes of unknown origin. However,
his comrades realized soon that their lack of recognition did not matter.
Borgharv had returned, not as the prodigal hero who left.. But as the
harbinger of Doom.
Description:
A putrescent stench of cedar and rotting innards wafts from the hulking
beast before you. Its hide is covered in coarse black fur, although it is
difficult to tell whether this is its natural color, or whether the caked
gore and filth has stained it so. Its cracked hooves support a lumbering
frame that curves dramatically to maintain such a mass. Slouched as it is,
the behemoth reaches nearly eight feet in height, with long bulky arms that
hang well below its thick waist. Its bovine head sports two tattered ears
adorned with dark-iron piercings, many of which appear to have been ripped
off to form jagged scars. Hanging from its powerful jawline is a beard of
nine braids, clinking loudly as the dark-iron rings fitted at the end of
each braid swing into eachother. Above its hollow, coal-black eyes are two
upward-curling horns that bear many a carven rune which glow orange with
malice. A labored grunt can be heard with every breath of this creature, as
if simply drawing breath into such a powerful frame requires great strength.
HOLY SHIT! Oh well at least I can say I'm loving all your characters.

Claimed as a character name. I guess this is common knowledge of who played this (in discord??!). I have been avoiding any places people talk about AR since I had a real bad experience in the #spoon channel a long time ago. Anyone wanna enlighten those of us who choose to try to stay immersed by avoiding those places? Please?

Shit, thought about it, wish I had never posted that, I really don't want to know who played it. I try not to think of who plays who. So if anyone can delete this, and my last, that would be great.

Imps can still see account info. AFAIK this character wasn't outed and it would be against the rules to do so without the players consent.

Thanks Vev, Im an idiot and forgot to consider the source and made a terrible guess. Thanks for the gentle reminder as always.
For what it’s worth, it was fun fighting you. Sorry it never came down to a final conclusion and also for the frustration. I figure Minotaur shaman feels a lot like fire giant shaman. Give Minotaur shaman a racial legacy, replacing mace with axe and kick with headbutt. I enjoyed the lisp as well.
Loved Borgharv, decent shaman, fairly good RP, never had to fight, so IDK about PK, but enjoyable character to be certain. Look forward if there is a next.
If you find the pace of these obits incredible,
Don't look now, for here lies a dead bull:
O Borgharv the Priest,
He now makes a feast
For the worms--if they deem him edible.
