  1. Was this an accidental oath break, or intentional (and thus presumably a rage delete)?
    1. I was fighting Kryon when he fled to Ofcol to rest up. I tracked him down to Ofcol and he attacked me. The cityguards attacked me for some reason and he fled at the right time when I pretty much killed the guard inbetween wraith lag which totally pissed me off, then poof I deleted.

This doesn't sound right to me. I've logged a bug and we're investigating.

Sounds about right to me, ofcol cityguards assist lawfuls. So yeah, got screwed there due to being chaotic fighting a lawful. Definitely should not be an outcast thing though.

So wait... couldn't any DK totally screw over any eradication paladin with summon and compulsion?
    6. I wish I had the log Dav, my client only saves when I tell it to save.

nah, something is off. he isnt fighting a lawful. It might be a lawful align pet or something stupid like that.

Scrynor> were you around when Ergorion was playing Zitthirax? Some changes were made because he was doing something similar... I can't imagine the Immortals wouldn't take that into consideration when adding new skills/spells (or variants of old ones; compulsion is like the old charm person but you don't have any control over the creature so you can't order it to remove its equipment etc.)

As for what Ergorion was doing, he was being very creative and said such things as, "It's not my fault I think outside the box." "You have an open mind to come up with this stuff." and a comment about deception being part of an illusionist's repertoire when somebody called him out for emoting his protective shield dissipating, and how he came up with the stuff (something about seeing how a process happens naturally and finding ways to make it occur artificially... End result? He duplicated the child in Dankbark Forest, would order it to attack a good-aligned player or their pets, and get the player damned for killing a good mob. The changes involved disallowing cross-align assistance, and preventing an illusionist from ordering their duplicates to attack somebody)

As it is, any class with summon can fuck over an eradicator paladin pretty easily (though only necros, DKS, and shamans have a RP reason to): just summon a weak good aligned mob and wait for the paladin to commit a lightning charge into the room.

Yeah illusionists were my very next thought. Compulsion seems even easier though. You don't even need the charge. Just summon, compel, lead them in, one shot, outcast

It already seems like Justice existing dooms them, doesn't it? Evil stands in town, you are compelled to attack evil, you get wanted, evil moves to a town with good guards, you are compelled to attack evil. You kill guards when they attack you. Outcast.

Maybe all I'm learning is I'll never roll an eradication paladin? Hah

With great power comes great responsibility.
