Serin has always been a land in conflict. The forces of light ever
vigilant against the evil that seeks to destroy and dominate. A battle for
the very soul of the land took place in ancient times in what is now an open
plain known as the ford. It was not a victory for either side, though the
light endured driving off the darkness. Forgotten by almost everyone, but
we remember. The builders have forgotten, the builders who took up their
hammers and their axes and stood beside us to stave off annihilation. After
the battle they retreated to the west building a grand city as a testament
to the endurance of the light, a city to hold eternal vigil. They completed
their masterwork before settling in the nearby hills to live peaceful lives.
With every generation they remembered less and less until they forgot about
taking up arms in defense of everything.
But we remember. Those of us that have eternally sworn to defend the light
with our lives. We have been called various things over the ages from
Templars to Crusaders to everything in between. Instead of retreating with
the builders we charged east after our retreating foes. We eradicated as
many as we could find and then built a fortress on the upper reaches of the
mountain. We honed our skills and trained for such a day that we are called
upon again to serve as defenders of the light. One day as I completed my
morning training as seraphim appeared before me and gestured to me with a
determined look and a beckoning hand. Thus I have come down the mountain
and will answer the call.
Description:
An extremely tall, statuesque, broad-shouldered woman stands before you.
Her face is severe and oval shaped with homely features and jarring solid
white eyes. A banner of unbound shimmering blonde hair flags freely in the
breeze. Her skin is the color of the afternoon sky and is marred with scars
and imperfections which bear testament to her many battles. Her substantial
frame bulges with well-formed muscles which compete for notice with and
enhance her exaggerated feminine curves. Her steady gaze and steadfast
stance exude a sense of calm and equanimity. Her heavy movements lack
swiftness but retain a fluidity that speaks of experience and wisdom.
