It was a miracle that Fralenn survived childhood. At least, that's what
she thought long after the fact. Her birth was one which caused much
difficulty for her mother, to the point where her mother nearly died while
in the labor of delivery. Her mother was weak to begin with, as the
pregnancy did not go easily for her. The final efforts taxed her strength,
and she barely made it through. She lost a lot of blood during those final
moments, too.
Fralenn's childhood wasn't quite as bad, though she was an only child and
made no friends. The years of youth were marked by tedium and time spent in
school. Whatever she put her mind to doing she could do, though for a while
she was a daydreamer. She loved to eat, so it was natural that she learned
a bit about food preparation. She went to the muffin shop in Timaran at one
point, and the proprietor told her about their patron goddess who loved to
bake when she asked who owned the place.
As she became a teenager, Fralenn's studies took her into the healing arts.
Later, she joined the healers guild. She did still daydream on occasion,
but found that reading books allowed her imagination to grow in more
practical ways. She read cookbooks and stories of good and evil, ancient
and mystical lore, and in general found many unsolved mysteries in life.
Description (commended):
The beauty of this creature is exotic and almost but not quite
immaculate. She could easily be an angel, as she is a humanoid lady with an
enormous pair of white feathered wings extending behind her back. And yet,
she is clearly no ordinary angel; her skin has an olive complexion, which
has clearly been tanned from hours spent in the Serin sun.
She clearly doesn't starve herself, either; her figure is rather cherubic
and chubby, with signs of eating well enough. For example, her cheeks are
big, her waistline expands outwards slightly, and small rolls of fat are
visible off her back. Her legs show signs of being used regularly, as her
feet have calluses and her calves look strong.
And of course, there's her face... A medium-sized nose is between two soft
brown eyes, and beneath it is a mouth with thick lips and often a smile.
And her hair is like a short black cowl around her neck.
Following a dead god + reading dramatic nonsense written by another Consortium member last time I logged on = main reasons for delete.
Also, as I was not yet Lore Keeper I lacked access to what I really enjoy doing as a Herald. Since it seems silly to ask for a promotion after being inactive, this is the end result.
Sorry to see this! Really enjoyed the character and the interactions we had. If you just aren't feeling it with a character...well, there isn't much to be done. The game should be fun, after all. But I hope one day you're inspired by a new idea enough to try this path out again. Best of luck!
Oh dear! I thought you might be gone but didn't know it was under such conditions! I do hope the offending writing wasn't mine! Or at least I think I do... A writing worthy of death might be quite prestigious in the artist world. Hmmm... I will have to think on this.
I'm sorry we never crossed paths much! If it's any consolation, I would have promoted you to master scribe as soon as I had vacated the seat and gained the authority. I was so hoping you would lead a Lore initiative for us in the next era. I do hope this hasn't soured you on the Consortium proper and that I will see another you in another life! Cheers and good tidings!
