A savage start
Groushtar was born in the back village of outlaws and common people. You know the one? Just inside the forest to the north east of Timaran. This isn't the best place to raise a young fire giant. Between the little drow and duergar coming to kill the common people or the elf and their ilk coming to kill the fire giants and goblins! It seemed like, he was destined for the wrong end of a sword. Many tried. When he was quite young his mother was taken out by a small raiding party just out looking for an experience. It was tragic and though, fire giants are not especially taken to kindness even amongst themselves, watching his mother get beheaded in front of him made something snap in him. Any kind of civility was lost that day. Thankfully his father was a bit more crafty and avoided the raiding parties after that. They tended to be loud, with many pets and all of them holding very bright lights so it wasn't too difficult. Seeing the change in his offspring and wanting his line to succeed, he trained Groushtar to fight and survive. The best that an uncivilized fire giant could. After a few years though his luck finally ran out in the form of an arrow through his eye socket. Word was starting to spread of a pair of fire giants that was eluding the local authorities and causing mayhem in the forest. Stealing livestock, etc. Watching his father hit the ground took away all the civility they had built up through the years and in a fit of rage, shouting to the heavens and executing a savage charge, he tore them to pieces with his bare hands. Completely caught by surprise at his animosity. Covered in blood, Groushtar headed towards Timaran looking for more.

Description:

Before you is a being of such mass, air literally flows and currents in his wake. Many feet above a normal man, Groushtar towers above, even most of his kind. Dark gray skin encompasses his entire body, thick and cracked with blood oozing out of the more rigorous openings. His head is bald, kept so in a brutal fashion. Appearing to be daily massages with the bad end of a rusty blade. Scars and missing scalp and skull all meshed together in a horrible mess. A protruding forehead extends over his plain brown eyes, turned bloodshot. Once, a straight and proud nose, has been smashed flat, giving a constant whistle as he laboriously breathes. What's left of his teeth have been filed to jagged points, shredding the inside of his mouth and covered in last nights supper. Wild animals are never over weight and this fire giant, fits the description. Narry an ounce of fat can be found on his savage body. Scar tissue, open wounds or disease are more prevalent.

Fire giant warriors are so amazing if you have a bunch of time to constantly be getting supplies between big battles. When I was able to be prepared it was awesome! But the days that I couldn't get prepared it was a shit show and droll. not fun. most of my time spent just running around.

I am going to stick with classes that have more utility, until I have more constant, free time.

    1. Yeah Fire Giants are legitimately scary. You did a good job of running around being a badass and fighting you was always a challenge. You just did so much damage. You had a lot of people running scared, wished you stuck around. If you had a shaman or an illusionist actively supporting you, your pks would easily be double digits. Was a little disappointed with the lack of repartee, but maybe that was your roleplay. Why didn't you use defender potions after joining legion?

low level, didnt want to just start draining the coffers, I took a few and I was using them. I didnt talk to any of my enemies, I Did talk, very very little. I thought it was a good rp of a giant lol
      2. You were super scary. Good job!

    2. Sorry to see the delete but I understand how much of a pain in the ass it is to keep a fighter well prepared. It definitely isn’t for everybody.

I was definitely looking forward to more fights with you! I wasn’t afraid at all.

I only had one encounter with this character. Got pwnt, asked to duel, got jumped, ran to solace, got followed, recalled and ran to colossal, got followed, recalled and ran to Ofcol. I don't know how he found me that last time, I thought I was hidden and AFK. Doh! I am not just butthurt, but it feels a little "excuse"y?? to blame lack of supplies, if you know where all the purples are, you can get them and stay on the run, with athleticism there is little need to pause to rest.

1000% guess, thought welp, which direction would I go.

this was what I didn't like about the character, when I was out of supplies which was alot, I just spent my whole time running from supply to supply to supply, and that is great when I have 10 hours to play on a day, but than the days that I don't and I only have like an hour or two to play... There was times I didn't even log in at all because I figured at least one or two enemies would be on and I wasn't ready. I would rather play than not play at all lol. Like I said in my OP, I think I will play something with more utility, even a dk you can sit at tyr unguld and summon hobgoblins. It's spring and im going to have less and less time to devote. I'd rather take the time now while I have it to build something new up that I can take through the year (hopefully)

Always run east of Seringale, cross as many areas in a row as quickly as you can. Impossible to properly track that

I am sad to see this one go. I was excited to see good things from this character. Totally disappointed now :(.

If the cabal supplies is an issue then Warlords may be a better fit.

          1. From 'Three for the Price of One'

O, the Legion graveyard is swelling,
And where it ends, there's no telling--
            Farewell to Groushtar,
            The giant who went far
Underground. The death bells are knelling.
