Blood and Law
My life starts out as ordinary as any child of Serin, but as I grew older I have found numerous challenges and road blocks have come into my life to test my endurance, my patience and most of all my conviction. As a young child growing up in the city of the drows I felt the immediate class disparity between the nobility and those of us born to a lower class. My mother and father were both hardworking individuals who took pride in what they did and lived a life of order and servitude. My mother worked in the palace as a nurse raising numerous children that were not hers, and my father tended the gardens and provided additional security when needed. As I grew to see how abusive and cruel my own kind was to the working class I began to feel an increased rage built inside of me. A day that I will never forget involved the murder of my parents and a known criminal. My mother and father were sent to a near by town to sell silly trinkets to the humans above and regain gold for the queen. As they traveled with their bags of gold they were cut down in the streets. No one defended them, no one protected them no justice was carried out. It was a this time I found the organization of servitude and order of the law. I vowed to always be vigilant and provide the necessary service to protect those in the same streets my family was murdered in.

Description:

The elegant woman sulking before you is the very definition of deception. Her ivory hair whips around in the wind as her sultry soft burgundy eyes peek up at you. Her tiny nose has a diamond stud piercing in her left nostril. Her thin blood stained lips quiver as if she is on the verge of tears. Hunched over you see her emaciated frame as if she has not eaten in weeks. Her skin almost appears translucent revealing each vein pulsating artery. You can see every single rib and tattooed on her side is a black rose entwined with thorns. Her bony finger and toe nails are painted black and the tips are trimmed with gold.

rares stay on your person for far too long. I didn't even remember who killed me until I deleted. I believe Hraozen killed me around January 13 I didn't lob back in with character until yesterday 2/21. A month of complete inactivity is far too long to keep rares. I had a few decent items that a regular player could have used, I was completely surprised that I still had them. I don't know what the right amount of time should be for purges, but if you can be completely inactive for 1 month and you really want to play ur character you will find a way to regain the items u had. Reward players for being active.

There's no purge in the character's first month of play, we've been over this.

Dang that fu should have been a thank you.

Rates are plentiful, but if you know your going to be out a bit, you can also sacrifice your wares. Just saying you could blame anyone, but let's be honest, I just want your opinions on the shadow class.

So I will try and be nice about this. Imagine all you knew was private jets, champagne and filet mignon to now having middle seat southwest with pretzels. I loved the options shadows had because to be competitive you needed every tool in that bag and then insane equipment on top of that. During my time with Chul its not like my fights were completely one-sided and I just stood there and had ez wins.

But now I wouldn't play a shadow again, the class is too restrictive and its not like the clans have an insane bonus to the skills they have. Why would I take ghost walk when my mana is gone in 2 rounds, if im getting my ass kicked two rounds of extra combat means nothing. If im kicking ass I don't need ghost walk. If I want an evil melee class with cure light then dks seems to be the obvious choice. I am a walking shaman with a triton watchmen frenzy bash.

personally I think rogues got screwed, any combat skill that is unreliable is not going to get used so the class won't be played. Imagine if barrage had the same chance to fail as sidestep when u have the advantage. Oops you completely miss the shield, oh no he switched to a two handed and dirted u lol.

My favorite part of this was seeing my beloved spider climber slippers auctioned for 50k. I have tried to get that damn item for probably 6 months on 6 evils and it was never in. That shit really rubbed me the wrong way and not being able to compete set for set against titanium tenors because eq isn't in due to hoarding ugh don't get me started.

        1. I agree with Ozaru, Shadows are way too pointless in their current state unless you want to hide in town/crossroads for hours and wait for lucky assassinates. Having uncanny/clobber/sidestep nerfed makes them a glass cannon without the cannon. And the restrictions to their utility just makes it overall less interesting to play one. Having abilities to choose make for some great strategic decision making and some clutch plays which was the key fun for a Shadow imo. Now it's just too gimp to kill anything but newbies.
          1. Also, not denying they were a bit overtuned in their glory days recently. But then again, several classes were and Shadows got hit the hardest and more than once.
