Last time I played a bard I believe they still had eye gouging, lol. I do think weapon improvise is interesting, like sure I can use any weaponry. Curious if that works with bows and arrows.

Hey man, this was me. After a bit of a hiatus I felt the itch to get back into the fray but fell into the same routine I have fallen into for a while now, which is: create,write a halfway decent desc, power rank and lose interest along the way because I didn't take the time to flesh the character out early on. Nihjinn became in my eyes a trash character, I just don't have much time to play anymore so when I do I try to rank as high as I can - dumb idea on my behalf. Lol.
Bards are awesome. Their main stat is Dex and Pixies have 25 Dex, eye gouge was replaced with dirt kick. Weapon improvise does not include bows. Fun fact : shrink weapon on oversized weapons shrinks them to normal size, I'll leave that one up for experimentation. Bards can wreck if their songs are strategically sung, and they have throw/ edge craft to boot. The only thing I would suggest is a bard song that acts as cancellation for the bard's beneficial songs. They have different durations and a clean refresh on their affect list would aid to decipher which song you are forgetting to keep up. Like maybe ode to stryth or another song that has little affect on the bard that could be utilized into something.
I 1 practed this Pixie and had 727 hps at 50, not too bad, I just rushed into the fray and became trash hah. Anyways, I don't have any other characters but I will make something down the road once I get invested again. I just can't rush it, even though I wanna get to 50 in the scene, a lot has changed and I'm not as good as I once was!
Oh drat. Finally a fellow pixie and we never even met!
If you're curious about extra info on shrink:
Oversized weapons shrink to be 1 hand wieldable.
But all shrunken weapons can only be wielded by small and smaller creatures.
So it really only helps halflings, quasits, pixies, and gnomes.
I have made some very powerful shrunken weapons for various characters though.
If you shrink a character they can also wield shrunken weapons but that is a touch hard to maintain. And if you enlarge a halfling they will drop their shrunken weapons. Etc.
A big limitation is that unlike enchant weapon you have to be holding it to shrink it. So no shrunken iron weapons in the world. And I can't shrink orderly or anti-neutral weapons. There simply are not enough fae folk about to shrink everything!
