Locked Horns Read to Charge
Born on the plains of the frozen tundra, I grew up in a home of strict discipline and unwavering competition between my brothers. My father always pitted us against each other to gain the very best out of his sons. From an early age, I learned to defend myself against extreme odds and deal with overwhelming circumstances. No matter the weather my father would train us in the art of war, depicting grand battles in our small cave. My mother would tend to our wounds, but with the same strict behavior demonstrated by our father. My older brother Jindo was chosen by our clan to represent us in the summer battles. At the time I was too young for the competition, but I traveled with him to learn. His first battle went quite smoothly and he defeated a young dwarf without breaking a sweat. His confidence soared and he did not maintain the discipline our father preached. A sinister drow was his next opponent my brother not respecting his opponent was left with a gracious souvenir, a permanent reminder to never take an opponent lightly for now he could no longer use his left hand. My father no longer recognized my brother as his son due to the embarrassment he caused our proud family. I became the chosen son to lead our family out of despair and change our misguided fortune. The very next summer I battled all opponents of the lands emerging victorious. My family was showered with gifts and wealth beyond our dreams. My parents became so engrossed with wealth and notoriety that they began to feature me as an unstoppable beast ready for any battle. I relished the attention and savored the blood I would spill. Countless men tried their hand in battle, and many lost just that. On a cold and stormy night a giant of a man came to my father and asked for his permission to take me to train with him. My father laughed in his face as I watched, within a blink of an eye a massive club the size of two men came crashing down on my father killing him instantly. The rest of my family fled in fear, the behemoth of a man looked at me and said, "You are not scared?" I responded, "A beautiful death is all I seek, you have made my father a happy man, perhaps one day I will be so lucky."

Description:

This massive beast envelopes you in darkness as his rippling frame blocks out any visible light. You feel the muscles in your neck begin to ache as you look to the sky to see the razor sharp horns dripping with blood and hanging flesh. These horns point directly out at you eager to gore his next victim. His eyes are cold and dark, as he snarls saliva drips to floor splashing in all directions. There is a large tuft of hair below his chin braided with the fingers of children. From the top of his enormous head leading down his muscular neck, black hair flows back and forth in the wind. His arms are the size of human and his hands could palm a dwarf with ease. His rippling chest and core are scarred from his many battles. A torn loin cloth barely covers his midsection and his colossal thighs are flexed and ready to charge.

Far from the best berserker ever. The plan was to duel hopefully win more than lose and die to con death. Only a 1/3 of the way there and was getting really boring and only the same people logging on without anything new for me to do without putting much effort into it.

Trinne it was interesting grouping with you and a bunch of goodies to rank to 50. You gave me a lot of great eq that I would have never been able to get on my own. thanks for that

Morzan and Kyde nothing personal was just bored and looking for a reason to delete.

FYI if you don't want to be streamed type nostream so your opponent can't see where you are going.

Playing a zerker was as easy as I thought it was. Get eq and rage, I did miss my fair share of body slams but all in all it was interesting.

Morzan when you found me in shadar I was literally handing my baby off to my wife when you attacked so I couldn't do a damn thing lol. Warlords was a little boring honestly. I made an evil thinking Knights would attack me so I would have more people to fight and they ended up ranking me to 50 and avoiding me and not even offering the oath.

I could have made more rp attempts I was hoping to be seen as reputable and maybe even get lucky with exhalted for con dying and going out in a blaze of glory but lets not kid ourselves.

Did you ever give the Knights any reason to attack you? As I remember, you seemed to go out of your way to be needlessly nice and polite to the Knights. It was weird seeing such a civil minotaur berserker considering you're supposed to be violent and insane.

Respect is built into the Knight's virtues. If someone else is respectful and civil to them, it literally goes against their cabal code to start attacking them. So don't complain about how level 50 was so boring when honestly, you did nothing but sit around at North Square politely requesting other people to duel. Make some RP of your own instead of expecting other people to make it for you.

it's delayed and it also disengages fast enough that it wouldn't follow someone all the way to shadun dalghul

it'd be pretty shit for a player to break RP to call someone out for it even if it did though, boo to that and a bad way to end a character

After reading the two most recent logs Morzan posted it becomes pretty clear what really happened here. You attacked a Knight, got mad that the Knights fought back, accused them of cheating because one of them is a veteran player who knows how to track, and then rage deleted.

And then you go onto the forum, continue to publicly accuse him of cheating with absolutely zero evidence to back it up, and then try to claim the real reasoh you deleted is because the Knights aren't RPing up to your standards? Give me a break. I didn't even realize Rehkan was evil until this graveyard post, so you're obviously doing something wrong with your own RP.

Oh, and here's the cherry on top. You end your post talking about how you wanted to be seen as reputable or even exalted. If that was your goal, this is definitely not the right way to go about doing it.

Oh and btw, if someone exits through the North Gate, the Sylvan Vale would be the first place I would check for them too.

he didn't see me exit through north gate I had already killed Kyde it was a good 3 minutes after Kyde died that he found me and the first two places he checks are the locations where he could see me? Whether he used the website to cheat or not I don't care now that I know you can just type nostream which no one seems to know about.

I was surprised that not one single knight wanted me to take the oath when any other uncaballed evil would be constantly harassed in doing so. You are making conclusions out of thin air Divsky. And you are probably trying to protect someone so its probably in your best interest to stay quiet as you are probably outing your character through these posts.

Maybe he got lucky that he decided to check north instead of east or south and you are right I don't have proof. All I have is when I died I alt tabbed and I see myself running through the vale so if I saw that he could have seen that 10 seconds prior I am assuming of course. If an imm says the moment I died thats when the stream would show me going through the vale then he has my full apology. Until then ill be forever suspicious of players and imms using every advantage against me =)
                        [reply to Ozaru]
                      1. He assumes that because he is a cheater everyone else must be. Forst thing, who afks the first room into an area? Second, it's standard practice for people who actually know the realms and pvp to one step all the areas within a few areas of the places you last fought. Shadun is a common hiding spot, so don't be surprised when you get killed there.

I think it's more OOC to post that kind of log. I read it, Rehkan could have easily RPed his 'outside sources' comment. Would I call it a sad end? No. I've seen worse. Someone posting logs complete with comments displaying underlining superiority complex issues, ruins characters for me.

I've found myself camping via the stream. Gotta watch out for that.

I don't remember ranking you up. I think the first time we met you were already 50, and as a member of the same temple I wanted to help you out. I wish you had given more RP to work with. Nycticora had good advice, as an evil Warlord you have the opportunity to fight just about anyone and start wars with enemy cabals. You also never wore saves against me in duels which was a little odd to me since basically you were dueling with both hands tied behind your back. As one of the first evil warlords after reopen if not the first this character had real potential especially with Lorne being pretty inactive you could have overthrown him or something I'm sad to see all that potential squandered.

As both a former rank 4 Warlord and rank 4 Knight, Ozaru (separate times, they were months apart), Knights don't offer the oath to Warlords.. that'd just open the door for needless Anathema if an accident occurs with their constant dueling. That's just how the RP has been between those two cabals, but no one says that can't change. Knights and Warlords are real close to each other, but that also can change. Blaming others for your boredom or lack of RP isn't going to make the changes you'd like to see, you got to have the patience and persistence to RP it all out. You won't be exalted just by having an evil Warlord that con dies because you've dueled yourself to death, you need to have an RP impact on the game and, with few exceptions, the time put in. Kewlin, Lorne, Uvet, Goron, we all know they're hitting the HoE whenever those characters are up. So wipe those tears, roll a new character to join all the new evils, and go Legion.. start a war with Warlords, you know they could use the action.

Lorne HOE? No way. He may have had a brief period of HOE worthy RP. I seriously considered reporting him a few times in the 40's due to his bad/ooc RP. Now he's strictly a middle of the morning player.

                                                  1. People throw names out for HoE too much... I wouldn't worry about that so much. As for the stream thing, I always kinda disliked it since coming back. I feel people sit there and watch it waiting for certain people to come on it, or run by north square, so it takes alot away. It should be like an hour delay or some crap.

As for the character. Pretty much what other people said. I was kinda excited for an evil warlord, and see how it panned out. But that's how I felt about all of them. Hell one of the last ones, or inactive ones, not sure, was one of the nicest characters and it drove me crazy.
