The world is a cruel place, but it does not have to be ugly. There is
also this question: How cruel is the world? Well for Saezuna Coldbrand, the
world was very cruel. She had to accept some cruelty at the hands of her
teachers, who instilled her with an understanding of emotion. Fear was the
strongest emotion by far, and she learned how to bend the wills of others to
do her bidding. At first, fear ruled Saezuna, but she came to thrive in the
midst of horrific mental tortures just short of compelling her to kill
herself. One day, she realized she no longer feared anyone. It was like a
veil had been lifted from her face, revealing truth. The truth in Saezuna's
case was that she was capable of controlling herself very strongly. She
sought redemption once she was finished with her lessons. She decided the
world was cruel, and moreover, she was fit to be a disciplinarian. Just as
she was capable of taking harsh lessons, so too was she capable of dishing
out pain. She also decided that she was fit to dispense her own personal
justice on an as-needed basis. She saw no reason to be merciful towards
anyone, and hoped to become both a dispenser of justice and a follower of
Rodyn, whose lines of thought matched her own.
Description:
A tall, slight of build woman of dark skin treads here. Her ears have
pointed tips, showing her elvish heritage. Her face has a hooked nose, an
angular chin, sky-blue eyes, and a worn look to it. Her off-white bluish
hair is tied behind her head into a single ponytail, which flops down onto
her back. Her arms are long but would easily be grasped in one hand. Her
legs are also long, and end in feet with especially long toes. Her
waistline looks slim, like she eats enough but not an excessive amount. She
looks slightly tense.
