An Abrupt Beginning
A tribal nomad, known by her birth name as 'Aedenfrid', which roughly means 'Peaceful Fire', in the native tongue of her tribesmen, because of her iron will and the ability to control her temper so well. She grew up in outlands where they would visit seasonally and set up camp while the fighters of the tribe hunted and gathered, but Aedenfrid was determined to become as strong as her father was. He was the mighty chieftain, some say a seven foot tall barbarian, but a renown Berserker of Diocletian, the God of Fire. Aedenfrid was quite receptive to the wisdom and knowledge her father bestowed on her, and by the age of seven she was a fierce hunter when wielding a polearm. A wave of dissension soon swept over the clan as anamolies emerged with those who reached darker dragon ancestry, becoming unrelenting in their sparring and bloodthirsty with fury. The bloodlust eventually drove them mad during training, and one of the evil kinfolk had challenged the chieftain to a duel to trick him into his tragic demise. It took ten men to defeat her father, and the story goes that she was held captive and forced to watch his death.

Description (commended):

Sarsah looks acquitted with stoical fortitude, the kind seen after one has experienced great tragedy and found themselves in numb serenity. From the inside corners of her eyes out, red tribal paint has been applied to blush over high cheekbones in a cone-shaped fashion, giving her a barbaric look. As hazel eyes glisten in tranquility above the red mask accentuating these swirls of emerald and bronze, you begin to notice the cascade of grey hair befalling her athletic form, and the youthfulness of this human. For such outlandishness the girl shows mannerisms akin to that of a royal Duchess. Her ashen bangs are braided and hoisted back like a circlet that crops and settles atop her head, this guides the rest of her hair away from her face so it may fall lavishly behind and over her powerful shoulders. An aroma of sylvan floral drifts from the blood-spattered armor she wears comfortably and without reproach. A mellow calmness seemingly exudes from within her warlike persona.

      1. Nooo! This makes me sad. You helped me a ton, from an applicant and as a knight. Thank you for all the advice and assistance constantly equipping from failing in pk!

Good character. Showed the tenacity and dedication for a Knight. Didn't see you back down from most fights. I'm sure the con loss became quite detrimental in the later stage. I'm not sure I could have done any better as a human berserker.

I kind of liked you... not whole heartedly though as all of our interactions were as enemies. I feel that I flustered you though, it really seemed like you just up and made silly mistakes when we fought... ones I don't think you would normally make, especially not with the speed and accuracy of your movements just to rage without aura or some of your other silly mistakes you made lol after 20 deaths from me I can't exactly remember them all :P you should try making an evil char and show this kind of dedication... we need you.

Sorry to see you delete, one of the other Imms predicted you would soon after stepping down, but I didn't think you would.
Good luck with your next character.

I thought you were great and that the promotion was well deserved. Had I known you were (apparently) sleeping with the enemy and about to switch to Legion I would have gone medieval on your berserker ass. BTW Zoat, dick move for posting that rp log. Dick. Move.
                1. pretty sure I was a dick... so thank you for pointing out the obvious. I guess you prefer the log board in its current state with 0 logs posted in the last 2 weeks, this is much better

Start posting your fights then, instead of rp logs that out someone's plans that you then squashed by deleting.

they were my plans, it was all initiated by me, I was hoping she was going to get kicked out knights for the shit I posted, but she stepped down instead, than deleted. oh well.

Logs are only to be taken for entertainment value. If you guys are thinking it would lead to in-game consequences, you are mistaken. It might provoke an Imm to get on someone's radar if we see people exploiting bugs or having bad RP, but they aren't going to get "punished" from a log.

Logs are just that, it can be altered, manipulated and taken out of context. Take it for a good read and not much else.

Zoat, maybe you are confused about what in game vs ooc is. What you did was OOC plain and fucking simple. That doesn't make your character a dick. It makes you a dick. A piece of shit really.

It was a totally fucked up thing to do.

I am fully aware of how to get ic, a simple note to knights before I deleted would have done the trick just fine, but I like to get a reaction out of you guys. I know off the top of my head at least 1 log in the past 6 months that I said pretty much the same thing, logs by themselves are irrelevant.

"I was hoping she was going to get kicked out knights for the shit I posted" Does this not seem wrong? If that string of words does not offend you, I don't even know what to say to you. I am fairly certain trying to get in game results out of game is not entirely endorsed. And an IMO aside...dick move by the player disguised as a dick move by a character is an insult to the intelligence of the community.

Sorry, that last was supposed to be a reply. Back to the post at hand, good run Sarsah, way to stick it out, and I wish you best of luck on the next!

              3. im not offended at all, we can't all hold hands and go on winter runs. it takes all types of people to play this game. Say what you want, but in the end its just a game. I honestly think you guys are just mad that Sarsah was doing it, way more than you are that I posted it but you need a scapezoat. Its fine. The amount of time and effort that I put into compiling all of that? You guys should give me some credit sheesh, I bet all of you read it. Grow up, move on. P.S. I wasn't the one who did it, I just posted it, think about that. Any other roleplay log would be praised, but because it damaged one of your fellow knights you're butthurt. And it was very well roleplayed btw.

Good ol' AR. Always a lot of dicking around in the comments.
                    [reply to Mikoos]
                  1. You have to have a tough skin here. All the OOC remarks that I kept hearing IC was essentially the reason I left Knights with the intent to delete and find another mud.

I first noticed it earlier in the year when I was training extensively with some new-met friends and would occasionally pick up on conversations with random people, and their lack of staying IC. Some good experiences there, some bad, some really great like training with some fun and dedicated people who are STILL there training!

I at first almost joined Warlords, then Justice, but felt Knight was Sarsah's calling, and so I began to rank and quickly did I to the pinnacle level. I believe my first nemesis was Knabra, then fought some with Dhaartnab, my second nemesis becoming Dahrthnak, and my third nemesis being Zoat. All which came in rapid succession of one another. I was practically the only active Knight, Lolath and Gairn were semi-active, Gairn was more active initially and then dwindled off. But I had a lot of help still with people like Shin, Ceridwel, and soon the new generation of Knights who were squired.

The RP between Zoat and I was pretty much me (the player) losing interest with Sarsah after I was told to eat shit and I continued to die to him. So I said to myself I will get him to RP if it is the last thing I do, but it was very difficult to get him to, and by the time I did, he was dying left and right, so I felt his influence over me was going away and he was going to lose his opportunity of corruption. If he succeeded, and would have won, and instilled fear into the hearts of his foes, and stopped talking like a child, I would have succumbed to the bloodfury that killed Sarsah's father, maybe (hoping) to become Undead in a vain attempt to save what life she had left after so much defeat as a courageous Knight.
                    1. He has deleted now, so I think I can say this too, the icing on the cake was when I seen the recent Justice cutting a rather otherwordly joke, saying, "Helluva kick!" with his fellow halfling (or obvious friend) saying "Right?"

I had already seen so much of it and it literally took me right out. By the way all the Zoat logs were so unappealing, and the one RP log is not even in correct order, and some things were altered. I went to search for muds while I still had the character and there is at least one that I will continue to play, but all of them reminded me of how AR is not such a bad place at all. Some other places enforce RP but have blatant OOC channels, so if all I have to deal with is a few rotten eggs then I believe that is okay. I just don't want to be a Lightwalker dealing with it, let alone a follower of a lawful good deity. I'd much rather play something where I can punish them myself for lack of, not sit around and have to drink it in. Sorry for the delete Ceridwel/Phostan, but I'm just being honest.
                    2. it's impossible for me to get it out f order sarsah. I had thousands if not tens of thousands of pages of log. I started at the top and went through deleting behind me as I went. if you think it'd edited or out of order that's all in your head
                    3. so of there is a hell-blade how is helluva kick ooc?

I'm a little shocked how "Helluva kick" was so terrible to you. I've run across so much worse. But that's fine to want more from people.

From an outside perspective, the character was solid. While I may not have any affiliation with Knights, it's exactly what I would want from a character that's in it. You were ALWAYS active which is great, and you took some pretty solid beatings at times, and jumped right back into the fray. I loved seeing it.

All in all, I liked the character.

I can't do anything about it if the insanity command isn't used. The only fix is for players to play better

Sarsah you have no need to apologize for deleting. You're the last person who needs to feel apologetic in this scenario. I hope you stick around AR, you're the type of player who makes the game better for everyone.
