Born to a revolutionary, tribal lizardman and a draconian female of royal
descent, the beginning of Sekuzashi's life was met with much hardship and
strife. Having violated the strict protocols put in place by the draconian
royalty in regards to arranged marriages as well as breaking from the
long-standing tradition of upholding the blood lineages scribed and recorded
by the draconian elders and priesthood, Sekuzashi's mother fell in love with
an outspoken and valiant lizardman who fought for balance and equality
amongst all the races of the lands. The violation of mention came in the
form of a secret birth between the two lovers, kept in strict confidence
amongst very select company in which either had put their complete trust and
faith. Though, as fate would have it, the birth of Sekuzashi was not to
remain a secret at all.
Betrayed by her court and entourage, whom which were acting in their own
perceived best interests of the royal families, and had sent spies to
monitor and surveil Sekuzashi's mother and her activities, the entirety of
her relationship and pregnancy were known to the High Draconian Court.
After birth, the Court had made their move against the child with the full
consent of the royal families and an agreed upon protection for Sekuzashi's
mother. Sekuzashi was taken by the royal guard and given to the spies to
deal with as previously arranged by the Court. One of these spies, whom
having grown discontent with the royal families and the High Draconian
Court's corruption over the years, managed to slip away and escape with the
infant, evading the pursuers.
Having arrived at the encampment which was home to Sekuzashi's father, the
newly redeemed spy witnessed a most horrible sight, that being the complete
annihilation and utter ruin of the village. Smoldering fires and piles of
rubble scattered the entirety of the area, the remnants of out-buildings and
huts. After laying eyes on the lifeless body of the infant's father, the
spy did not stall in rerouting and guiding the newborn to a place of solace.
Into the void, through foliage and pathways of wilderness far beyond the
Dragon Tower, the spy would take on the responsibility of raising this
child.
Many years later, the youthful Sekuzashi had become a reliable hunter and
gatherer, with a strong affinity for combat and living in nature even under
the harshest conditions. The guardian whom abandoned the life of a spy in
order to raise Sekuzashi did so in earnest, imparting what wisdom and
knowledge he could to the young halfbreed and raising him in a principled,
disciplined way befitting of Sekuzashi's late father and his father's
beliefs. The ways of the hunt and survival were commonplace in his
adolescence; life lessons often arrived swiftly and were taken to heart.
Adept at a wide variety of weaponry, his guardian was able to introduce
Sekuzashi to the way of the warrior over the years. By drawing upon the
spirit of his forebearers, guided by patience and perserverance, the way of
honor began to reveal itself through the trials of his life.
As his guardian was often tending to a hunt or business afar throughout his
younger years, Sekuzashi was quite familiar and found contentment with
moments of solitude, leading him to find great benefit in meditation and
reflection. Learning of his lineage and the many corruptions of the world
from his guardian over the years that they survived together, Sekuzashi
eventually set out on his own and traveled back through the void, with
purpose.
Description:
An azure-scaled creature is before you. Standing roughly over five feet
in height, this scaly being stands with poise, maintaining a disciplined
posture. The shimmering skin that covers the entirety of this creature's
body appears to be thick, ridged azure scales. From the base of the spine
protrudes a tail no less than four feet in length, also covered in the same
azure scales. It is difficult to visually discern any expression upon this
being's face, as the scaled texture and shimmering azure colors appear to
almost shift and dance. The eyes, however, are a vibrant bright violet,
noticed as reptilian-like eyelids flick across both of the eyes
side-to-side. From what is visible and not covered by attire, this creature
appears to have a very athletic and toned physique. The face and jaw
protrudes as almost snake-like, with rigid horn-like protrusions from the
jaw, jutting downward.
