Orphaned at an early age, Termas Qui's earliest memories are of living in
the forest northwest of timmaran. He survived by begging for food from
travelers coming to and from timmaran. While still quite young, a Monk on
his way to the Monastery was kind enough to befriend him, teach him basic
education, to read and write, to work sums, and to speak articuately. This
Monk was also generous enough to help him construct a small but sturdy
shelter to protect Termas from the harsh elements. Termas was most grateful
to this kind Half-elf, and questioned him about the order, and its purpose.
When termas spoke of his gratefulness for this Monks kindness, and how he
felt that the monk must have been the most holy follower of the light, the
monk responded "I did not help you out of the goodness of my heart, Nor did
I hinder you for spite, I helped you, because it was the Right thing to do."
Never fully understanding the Teachings of this wise older man, termas has
vowed to learn all the ways of the Monastery, and to comprehend what the
Monk meant by not helping because he was a follower of the light, but
because it was the Right thing to do.
Description:
Termas Qui is a Male human of slightly above average stature and height, standing approximately 72 inches and weighing just over 200 pounds. His head is completely devoid of hair except for the blonde braid descending down the back of his neck and over his the left shoulder. A clean shaven face, devoid of any expression except curiousity, peers about with piercing emerald eyes. His dress is that of a simple bohemian villager or farmer, clean and well mended, with a dusting of dirt from travel around his feet and bottom of his travelling cloak, pulled tightly about him as if to ward off a chill, or evil omen.

I am sad to delete termas but i must say it was fun...azhai whooped my ass. for some reason not matter how much i'd keep combat style advantage or whatever it didn't matter in the fight. I got smoked and this didn't sit well for the simple fact that whats the point in fighting if you keep advantage and STILL lose..grimjark even agreed with me in our last duel that this was true. thank you goron, blyx, AND OLYN for our secret little talks baha:D i ran this character by far longer than any other but crave something else!
Against an illu you need to prioritize defenses not necessarily combat style advantage. If you went dual wield as opposed to leopard or like Phoenix you probably were just screwing yourself.
i know that, i used that. Im talking about battling warriors, or thieves or berserkers it's all the same combat advantage does nothing...i would destroy most mages i fought in serin mages for monks was cheese walk pheonix style and a little bit of saves and your off to the races. but everyone else i was getting dogged
leopard style IS the most bad ass defensive style you can get, actually i will give you a secret USE CRANE against azhai they don't wear any weapons try to skirmish with him as a monk. also if you can get azhai to run around a little or drop protective shield use move to monkey style if you have the tattoo and monkey clamber. it attaches you to them so they can't flee. then throw them it sends you both three or four room away and you stay attached to the illusionist as he tries to run.
Pity, I knew this was you because of your slip on the logboard, but otherwise I was impressed with this character. Had a really good time in our duels and such

I always preferred Leopard style, with an average of around 100 sv vs mental (maybe more, if dreamstrike is used consistently).
Good run, btw. Enjoyed most interactions with your character.
