  1. That’s weird that my graveyard is showing up Bert. I got my name changed to Thalandir and yet, here is my graveyard lol. It was fun playing eradication paladin, I’m glad fencing is finally getting fixed. Sucks at the end that a pet is what got me converted. Not gonna lie, pretty butt hurt about it. Not gonna go the whole DKN role as I’m not into them anymore. Anyway, GG.
    1. NOooooooooooooooooooo
I was going to get you some puppy stompers :(

The Queen loves her corgis, off with his head!
    3. Three cheers for Thalandir,
the elf whose blade overcame all fears!
His weaving form inspired a storm
of squires and elven swords for hires.

A gentleman elf, he strode with such a pose.
Still, I never saw him look down his nose
though he met in his many travels
      such different kinds of rabble.

I never saw him back away from a fight.
He faced a monstrosity while I, knuckles white,
flung rays of vindication to the very last inch.
He was a blow from death. He never flinched!

On the last day our fun was casually paused,
for brave sir Alkas offered a trade:
A cuirass for some legplates were the cause
of an arena duel, with the winner to be paid.

The Knight rode down, a sage Corgi at his side.
Thalandir spun after him with a leap!
At first Luck held our hero in her eye,
for the blows of his blade rained quick and cut deep.

The monk fled soon, with his dog still reeling.
As he gained some distance and began his healing,
Thalandir's blade found the Corgi's neck!
The animal slumped and fell to the deck.

Alas! Some wicked prank was played,
for the Corgi whom Lord Phostan made
was the undoing of his most faithful adherent.
That strike consumed his soul with malevolence
so foul it turned his eyes to embers.

Not a soul who was there will fail to remember
The bravery of my friend, sir Thalandir,
Who turned the world upon its ear.

  2. I'm really sorry man. I had no idea the corgi was good aligned. Also it never even occurred to me that you'd kill it. From my end at least I wasn't thinking anything about your stuff, I was focusing on trying to figure out wtf I could do to not insta-die. And it didn't look like I had that figured out.

We held a bit of a service in your honor. I am sorry for what happened. I can only imagine how awful it feels to lose a character like this in that way. Definitely not a fun night for you. Good luck and be well.

    1. Damn it, this was my plan to turn you next time we fought.

Thanks for being a relatively good sport when you smeared the ground with me. Enjoyed our fights even if they sucked and was looking forward to fighting you once you got nerfed some.

Dang, that sucks. A duel with a Knight smokes a solid char. Sorry to see that. Way to make everyone stay logged out with their evils all the time.

Can't wait to see what you do next. Great run.

That's what you get with a busted ass OP class coupled with solid vet player behind him. Which is distasteful to my experience in AR, to be quite honest. At-a-whim changes that piss off vets. The story of our Pbase.

I think its worth mentioning there is actually a path to redemption for these eradication paladins. Now, I wont take credit for coming up with it, Olyn/Ceridwel did that (definitely nicer people than me) , but I will say I checked on it and added my little 2c before I signed off. The way to restore that oath is to perform seven good deeds. Those deeds have been outlined in the restoreoath helpfile. Just write to the imms if you want to do it, and they'll get to work with you. It could yield some interesting RP. Although, this also makes sense as an ending point. But just want to make sure there is awareness of your other options.

            2. I wish I knew about this sooner. Anyway to undelete Thalandir so I don't start all over?

Really sorry to see this happened to you Thalandir. I interacted with you a bunch and thought you were great. The time you put into this guy was awesome and I’m super jealous because I know it must be so fun to be able to just dive into a char like that. I hope you had some fun with him and I hope you have as much fun and impact on your next!

It's in the helpfile for eradication paladins that there is a way to redemption just so you know.
              2. Really? I read the help file for sacred oath, checked for eradication help file (didn't find one), and I didn't see anything until Davairus updated the restoreoath help file after I deleted.

Can being outcasted trigger the same precautions as rage delete? It's a similar feeling behind the keyboard I imagine. Might as well offer a lock out like rage delete does.

People have been restored before, for exceptional reasons, please write a note in game to imms to get that process under review. We wouldnt kick that off over a logboard ask. You'd have to come over a bit more seriously and at least write a heart-felt note in game type thing. Although to be honest, I think I let the cat out of the bag a bit prematurely. I saw the thing go through imm notes months ago and remembered about it assuming it was done and ready to use. I expect its going to be a ton of work for the imms to undo that atm, and theyll be annoyed at me because of my big mouth. So be patient, please
