Title: the Fake Goat of Thera
Gender: Male
Level: 50
Class: duergar warrior

Background history:

Description:

Before one crouches a male whose nails are long and sharp. His eyes are a dull melancholic shade of grey, making it appear as though he's nearly blind. His hands are large and rugged, skin as tough as leather, cracked and scarred. His hair hangs down to his neck, auburn toned, but cut unevenly in some places. His legs are muscular and short, barely the size of his torso. His hands are an interesting white, stained as bone.

I vaguely remember reading some logs about Theoric and his becoming a goat.

What`s the story why Olyn turned him into a fake goat.

It was Resatimm. I remember he locked their group inside evermore and gave them all a death tarot until two of them got married. I forget how the goat came into it.

            1. They were running Evermore as you said, and res around that time popped around and did random things quite often around the time. Theoric swore about something stupid he did, and resatimm was going to kill them all for it. Theoric said that he would marry a goat if he spared them, so He titled Cadarel the leader of justice at the time, the fake goat of thera, created him a goat suit and everything from what I was told.

              1. actually I got it backwards, theo was the goat, so It was cadarel that swore in front of Res, and said he would marry a goat.

Theoric was definitely a favorite back in the day. Him and Paelgrim were buddies that I had to encounter on more than one occassion.

Theoric was a solid fighter and you'd rather have him on your side than not.

Now that Theoric is gone I can finally say this. Back in the days of Dioraem, Kento challenged him to a duel, but he had to be unarmored and mostly unarmed. Dioraem call lightning'd him to death/submission and won lol. Fast forward like 5-6 years, Theroic and Hrimoyan had a fight. I was sitting at the circle of the trees, and falcon came showing someone was coming.. he attacked and essentially got 2 rounded from full health because I had my bow and water arrows equipped just because and he initiated no aura dual wielding. Funniest thing ever and later came to find out Kento and Theoric had the same player behind them. It was a hilarious "history repeating itself" moment.

                      Sucks Theo went inactive.

I looked at other muds on the TMC and I skipped over alot of them. Even the mud at number 1 on the list.

not quite true. I've seen some obvious higher newbie traffic in the last two weeks, and AR is holding rank 43 on TMC and rank 23 on TopmMudSites.

Last month AR's TMC rank was 132.

                                  thats an obvious benefit.

So my birthday was May 5th, and I went to log on to him to fuck around and then realized he had just been deleted... I won't lie, I pretty much freaked out and haven't even checked this until now.

Theoric was my favorite character of all time, though I've had many, many others over the years. Theoric was friends with the last of the Warlords, and had many companions throughout the years. Gorgite, Paelgrim, Cadarel, Vevier, several others. So many fights with Knights. When Legion was overwhelmed and Knights were full, I'd spend hours at pinnacle helping tons of the Legion lowbies rank up to give them a chance. And then when Legion would be on top, I'd be fighting with them. Very great times.

Proudest/funnest moments would be- Killing Noctezza, killing Olyn with that bow and magic arrows against his Centurion's polearm and taking his full rares (Though he definitely killed me right back for them), Striking fear into generations of Knights. Several high Legionairres. Feeling invincible in those full suits of rares, dominating everyone with them... just to have my butt kicked by the most random mistakes (aka Hrimoyan two rounding me when fully rared out). When I was cons Spending hours with Paelgrim or Gorgite and either pair being able to get virtually Any item, no matter how hard it was, even if it took all day. I know I've forgotten many other situations, but these were some of the best, and I want to thank and give Kudos to EVERYONE that gave me great times.

Most of my deaths were from crazy Winter runs. Or random experimentation. I can confidently say that Most of my deaths were not player. But I do not regret any of it. I have had an amazing run of years here. Theoric would go from being in the best of full rares, to Malicious beast set without skipping a beat and I would still manage to hold my own.

Haha, Hrimoyan, I have told that exact same story to many people over the years. God. I promise I've gotten better over the years.... at least a little. I was Such a n00b back then.

Oh god, Vertas, Thamivon and Kento, we were so miserably terrible, but we had So Much Fun. Those were the best times ever. I love this place, and it has saved me from depression and myself many times... and been the cause of them as well, at times, when I got too into it. And it's impossible to ever say that I'm leaving, but it will probably be quite some time before I can devote time to this place again.

And to the Immortal team, who make this whole game possible- Thank you guys for all of the personal interactions I had with you throughout Theo's life, as well all of that amazing behind the scenes work! I must admit, all of these recent updates that I'm reading are making it hard to resist diving back in immediately- Great job, without a doubt.
