What a mess! This grimy drow appears never to have bathed in
his entire life. His face lacks any distinct color, with
different parts bearing different ancient stains. Thick, greasy
locks of hair flop around his dark eyes. Bones are clearly
visible beneath the skin of his shoulders and knees. Long
fingernails curl out from the ends of his bony fingers. A
twitchy nervousness surrounds his every move, and his eyes dart
about as if looking for a pursuer.
Waited a long time for you to join Legion was wondering what was taking you or why you wouldn't. Never got that spider of your tongue it seems. Did a good job in Legion watched the guidelines did pretty much everything right. Ended up as Dreadlord and stuck through the hard times with no one but you in Legion that was anywhere near compitent. Nicely roleplayed as well, all in all a very memorable character. Looking forward to your next if your making a next.
This is in my list one of most intriguing and liked chars in ar history. Sure there were many and plenty but its here and now.
Heck, might be even played by total ass. But such well rounded, roleplayed and adept character is rarely seen.
I learned alot from your logs. And am aware just how frail invokers are, excellent timing, cleverly played (most of the time :P) thank you for the effort :). Looking forward to some of comments by player himself.
I still remember the one time you and I fought a fight to the end. I was in... mithril I think, and saw you on. You always came to mess with me in the palaca, it was fun. But That time around you made a spring in EVERY ROOM OF THE FREAKING PLACE! I would run, try to catch the tick and be jetted awake by you. Good character, good rp. One of the few recent LEgionairres i've liked. Whoever played ihm, step forwrd, you deserve a frickign medal, if for nothing else other than the 'thider' crap.
When I saw "(Deleted) [LEGION] Thkot" this morning, my jaw literally dropped.
Hopefully it was due to getting bored with something, or wanting to try something else, and not having to quit or leave due to personal circumstances. I'd hate to think we were losing a player of the caliber shown here. Great RP - original, very consistent, and all-around amusing.
I remember when Vhrael was ranking up and whatnot, and Thkot was sitting around usually RPing in town, talking to Zanderic and others. I was thinking at first that he was probably played by some younger, newer player, because he never went after any PK attempts... always just stayed in town, tended not to make any enemies, and generally kept to himself. So when I saw that he had gone for Legion, it came as a total surprise (although a welcome one).
Great memorable character, as everyone else has already said. I'd like to personally congratulate the player behind him, and of course I'm looking forward to the next one. Good job.
Yeah, I didn't have too many interactions with Thkot, since by the time I got into Legion, Thkot had already become mostly inactive. But from what few interactions I did have with him and from the logs I read about him, I must say that Thkot was perhaps one of the most well-executed characters I have ever encountered in my time at AR, especially his attitude as a caballed character. Truly, an example to look up to, both for others and for myself. Well done.
We rarely spoke actual words against each other, and our battles were usually fast paced. More often than not I ended up on the defensive after being run through a helluva lot of potions thanks to lotsa dispels. It was very VERY frustrating at times to be insta gibbed in the first round or two regardless of how many saves you throw on, which you and Rolf both are notorious for. :) I just wish my arrows would have had a better chance of punching through prot shield/shield block. Your defense ratio is outta this world :) Well played, I just wish I had gotten to see your actual roleplay style a bit more. Your logs were definately interesting to read!
I still regret helping you rank. Trying to hellstream me in Enthema? That was low. And at the very least if you were planning on deleting you could have raided my cabal this morning so I could take out some pent up frustration on you. One of the few classes I stand a decent chance against, and you go and delete, leaving me to play the punching bag. Bah. I still think you would have been better off unassociated with cabals then anything. More of a guy who plays sides against each other and changes alliances with the wind. And I hated your lisp, I think Dav should have set it so your casting rate was a lot less successful.
Man, I have no idea how many times we fought. It went on forever, and you always got away, I never once killed you. I had a blast with Thkot and though you probably didn't mean to, you taught me a whole lot about keeping my cool in battle. Well played and most definetely a memoriable character...hell, its because fighting you all the time that I got reputation. good luck on next charac.
Anyway, not much I can add that hasn't already been said before. A damn good character - not just in the fact that you posted RP logs, or actually bothered to script a lisp into your client, but the interactions were great as well. You did a fantastic job of seeming as sweet as pie, right up to the point you hellstreamed the poor sucker you were talking to.
I remember sitting in the Travellers Rest with you, surrounded by bouncers, enjoying a perfectly polite chat, nervously twitching that you were about to attack. That was power, man!
I also posted this, cause this thread got bumped off the recent posts list, and I think Thkot deserves a little more applause than that.

Gneumal lost a lot of equipment to Uinti's looting in that incident, but he gained something Thkot could never have: the respect of his peers. Gneumal went ahead and deathmarked Thkot, then attacked him in plain view of Justice. He defended his honor like a good Warlord should, and will be remembered for that. Thkot is simply a memorable lowlife scum.
I swear he had to be the most scenario scripted pker ever.. he was just that awesome. I could never enter the room and hit him. His RP logs were incredible too.
