Up in one of the homes in the far northeastern mountain ranges, a child
was born to this pair of grateful couple and that was the beginning of the
dwarf named Tordrak. Long have this couple hoped for a child to call their
own, when the look of envy would always fill their faces as they look upon
the children of their neighbours. Tordrak was their hope and joy, a
blessing they would relish to be from the gods, amidst the chaos that was
rampant then. The happiness was short-lived though, because no one would
have anticipated the pain and suffering that would engulf Tordrak at such a
young age. His parents were slain, cold-blooded and brutal in a raid by
some of the guerilla orcs that scowled the mountains for loot. Having lost
his parents at a young age, he was lucky to have been saved by a roaming
traveler skilled in the arts of melee combat. Since then, he had trained in
the skills of the combat arts, joining the halls of the warrior guild upon
arrival at Seringale, the city where he registerd as a citizen. Still
holding on to the bitter cold vengeance that he suffered from the brutal
deaths of his beloved parents, he had sworn himself to protect the lives of
those who seek peace within the walls of Seringale and other cities
protected by the LAW.
Description:
Crouching before you with a slight hunch in his back, is a stout-looking
dwarf warrior. His features are rather typical of his kind, although he
sports a moustache that is ridiculously curled at both ends of his face. He
is shorter than most dwarves you had seen before, and a brief look of
weariness is sometimes obvious from his expression. Despite the battle-worn
look on his face, you could almost still sense a strange air of calmness and
danger about his being. Numerous scars run across the exposed areas of his
body that were not covered by his armor, with a significantly deep one that
seemingly ran from the top-right of his shoulder, diagonally across his back
to the other end near his left hip. Amidst all these, the most interesting
feature to note would be his incandescent blue eyes that occasionally appear
to flash with a slight ruby red tint when he searches around his
surroundings with a watchful purpose.
