Born north of Seringale in the mountains, Trinne's childhood was an
extremely simple one. He did not venture outside of the mountains often,
nor did he meet with civilized people. He walked among the mountains and
nature and as a druid, learning various curative tonics and potions,
studying the wilflife and their mannerisms, attuning himself with the birds
and the insects. There were few other children, and as such the mountain
life became his friends, his companions. On his eighteenth birth date he
roamed out from the mountains he had called home. Moving to Seringale, he
began to learn of civilized ways. He learned of the priesthood and the
church, religion and faith. With it, he began to learned to speak with the
Gods and attune with the elements, as he'd once did with nature. He still
had a longing for the simple life, and would often return to the forests and
glades to again attune himself with the forces of nature, ensuring his
connection to the wilderness stayed strong.
Description:
Here is an average looking human at about an average height. His hair is dull brown and tied in a little pony behind his head. His pupils are a very faded orange, which offsets his bronze skin tone. His arms and legs are not muscular but they have some definition to them. His lips are full and pink and curve in a perpetual smirk.
This has been a crazy year glad AR has been around to keep my mind sharp through all the uhm extra curricular activities. I'd been working from home so had a ton of time free to train in mahn-tor. Died twice AFK to Draccus earlier this year on this char. Once to Azoth being stupid and this last time to Qurtoc in a battle to the death. Started back in January give or take after about 2 and a half year break from the game, felt like a total nub (seems more changed in the game in that 2 years than in my entire time playing) and through a couple different chars had a real blast relearning the game. I do not enjoy healers, drow ninja is an awesome combo, monks are kind of lame although awesome in pve. I'm sure I'll be back.
Well, I cant say im going to miss this one. You shit on Exhlament more than anyone else did, I don't know why I kept trying to fight you without saves and wondering why I was losing. I smartened up in the last two fights we had before I deleted, I don't know if you noticed all of a sudden your dispels didn't work anymore. I knew that when I was typing in my password that there was a 85% chance I was going to fight you. Out of all of our interactions you never once opened up dialogue with me, and keeping my roleplay I couldn't either, so I cant say anything about your roleplay, because you had none. I only seen you even speak once, that was north square, and I was talking to someone else, pretty sure right after dieing to morzan I think, that might even who I was talking to at the square.
Ok, so umm, how can you say you died AFK twice to me when you were RUNNING around Seringale both times? Doesn't seem AFK unless you were script walking? Anyway, had good fights against you as Azoth as well, that last time was BS. I didn't see I was cursed lol. Good luck on your next though.
The first time I died to Draccus I was AFK in my guild training - not moving at all. The second time I was moving through Seringale, turned to get my phone (about 20 seconds), came back and was a around from death. Azoth and Qurtoc were my only legitimate pk deaths sorry Draccus. :(
As far as who I am, I wanted to tell but I think the mystery is most of the fun.
No to discount everyone else that made this char awesome. Too many to count, the Knights, the Legion fire members, justices, keepers, warlords, unaffiliated. Don't like healer pvp but truly enjoyed the char interactions. Oh thanks Talyri for getting me that set btw.
Thanks for all the fun. Even things as simple as spending a couple hours looking for the secrets were fun. And thanks for all the clutch recalls during our 2 man adventures. I suck at being around lately so sorry about that. Too much craziness(health issues) going on in my life.
I don't say this often, but you deleted early. People saying you didn't have RP really didn't take the time to get to know this hero and what they were about. I thought it was really cool that you came at it from a warlord angle with just a love to fight. That being said you fought everyone you could, helped anyone that needed it which is why I am bummed that you deleted. You were a normal guy to talk to and be around without all the stupid crap people do to try and "distinguish" their chars from others. I liked Trinne I hope we cross paths again.
Glad this one is gone. Shit/traash character. Very little RP unless it was with select people (OOC?). Randomly attacking toons 8 levels lower than you without any dialogue. No you never killed me but it was annoying.
You either hated Trinne or loved him hehe. His RP was fine, something a little new with a healer who followed Diocletian, and he RPed that perfectly. Sorry for y'all that got pissed off with him (evils), but he was a good toon. No problem helping out getting that set, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I haven't been around in game, but I'm still sad to know he's gone.
Ravinah killed countless people at least 42 no dialogue as did uvet why do they get a pass and you want shit on trinne. If you were evil you were getting your shit kicked. This is a pk mud his deity was the God of war your rp was fine don't listen to these haters
I had a run in with Trinne with a neutral but we got over that real quick. It doesnt take much if you dont take things personal. We both got each other, I'll go ahead and take a little pride knowing I'm one of the few that beat him lol Trinne was a great character and he did have good rp
Trinne i really enjoyed you and your rp was great, just because you didn't talk to alot of people they thought you were a dick but you were a great character and i think having you around reminded me of a healer i knew long ago when i played zelbin, Azazhog was his name and he was quiet and one hell of a pk'er as well. So to all the haters leave him be, we need more characters like this good and evil to keep the realm fun. I hope to see you on a new character soon.
Oh my god, totally did not see this coming. Had such a blast rping with you. Totally makes me want to out myself so you know what I'm talking about. You will totally be missed.

yeah sure, among a very small circle of friends Trinne probably did RP well. but when a lvl 50 healer is randomly attacking any level evil in their range (she attacked me on two different level 42ish chars), without ANY dialogue, there is a fucking problem. I believe that type of behavior contributes to player churn and should be avoided. If I was a newb and got ganked by a silent healer, I'd think twice about playing here at AR. And no, Trinne has never killed me so I'm not butthurt. I just call it how I see it.

Martin you already outed yourself on a previous grave yard post and Xanthas stop throwing shade and explain why Ravinah and Uvet both killed people as soon as they were level 42 but are HOE members just explain why you criticize Trinne for doing it, but never said a word against them? I had Uvet, open up dialogue with me, I had ravinah, open up dialogue with me, I had roleplay with either of them. They are also both evil necromancers, and fully expect them to just up and attack. I never had the HEALER speak to me once, not once, and I fought them to the death about 10 times, and about another 10 times not to the death, over about 8-10 hours of actual playing. What I did see, is an uncaballed, constantly trolling cabal chars, invading, and capturing items, I fully felt that you were being an asshole, for the sake of being an asshole, not roleplay. and yes, this attitude, coming from a healer, gray area or not, leaves a bad taste in everyones mouth. I agree with xanthas, garbage char, maybe your next one will be better.
I'll go out an a limb here and say that we have a lot of recently exhumed bodies (likely frequent evil character players) making their way to the surface on this graveyard post.
Most of the time, if someone gets irate about an evil killing any goody in their pk range, spewing across the forum in anger, they typically get told to stop being a whiner. Odd that when a goody goes and does the same to the evils, all of the players who typically player evil characters come out of the wood work and whine. There is a double standard here, though it shouldn't shock anyone that when the shoe is on the other foot, it's suddenly not as comfortable.
For me, if a goody wants to go crazy on evils, well, that's a part of a PK intensive game. It also fits into basic RP - They are good, you are evil. There isn't a whole lot of ambiguity here. Same goes for an evil against a goody, or anyone else for that matter. (Such as Uvet and considering that I was smeared by Uvet with ZERO words on numerous characters on different occasions on sub 50 characters, I don't think I'd make the claim that she was any different).
People need to consider that Trinne wasn't just a healer, but a priest of Diocletian. You're trying to lump all healers together into a single roleplay, when I think with the current religion system, any communing class should be roleplaying strictly based on who they worship.
Diocletian is the immortal of battle and war. Trinne didn't worship Sarich, who is the stereotypical love and be kind and merciful to everyone immortal. He worshiped a war god. That's pretty much the only reason he needs to fight.
And yeah I agree I find there's a huge double standard here from trashy evil char players whining that they were on the receiving end of getting smacked down the second they hit level 50 pk for a change.
Trinne roleplayed constantly from what I saw. If he was a man of a few words to an evil so what? He was a warpriest and you were evil. He took the evil must be destroyed approach instead of the please don't be evil approach. He was around a lot, and always friendly if you were good or neutral.
There is such things as roleplaying...without having to say a word. Seeing how Uvet is being used as an example here, I will chime in... My RP was to reap your soul, and sacrifice it to Resatimm and in return for me giving him the souls I was to be granted immortality when he was pleased enough with my many gifts of souls. So I didn't always find the need to be a chatty-kathy with everybody before killing them and taking their soul. Many people would open up conversation with me after I killed them, and would learn what-why-how and so on about my RP.
Hmmm...I wonder why Uvets background isn't showing up. Well, I had one that went along with the RP.. wish that was on the GY.
So I am with Faelon on this one..If Trinne the healer wants to kill evil...then so be it. If you didn't think he was RP'ing enough. Then maybe you weren't initiating conversation and learning his hows and whys.... which having your char interact verbally with other IS RP...that's your chance roleplay! So if you weren't taking advantage of those situations to develope your RP, and learn Trinne's, then who's the one actually lacking in the roleplaying department???? Just a thought... .
