It could be said that his was the story of a normal Jotun boy. Nobody
knows for sure, though. Anyone who knew him as a child has ended up dead or
missing. What can be stated as fact, however, is that he was a destructive
child. Growing up Redhorne adjacent, perhaps, was the reason for this. His
kinfolk in that area tend to be quite the sinister lot, engaging in
murderous witchery and bloodletting. So much so, that a young boy ought not
to be raised in such conditions for fear of duplicate behavior.
Regardless of his upbringing, the boy had a penchant for doing as he pleased
when he pleased. Because of his size, stature, and malicious nature, he
spent a great deal of time torturing those around him that could not escape
his gaze. Powers of an odious nature took notice and offered the young man
something he could not find it in himself to refuse.
The world for his soul.
Description:
This creature... This towering, titanic behemoth of a man easily dwarfs
those of less mythic origin. Jagged, obsidian spikes protrude from various
points across his figure. The most notable of these crepuscular stalagmites
jut out from the top of his thick, dense skull in what pass for ears.
Icy-blue eyes glow in the darkness of his crystalline form. Each wintry
ember exudes a frozen, burning hatred. Amidst the inky blackness, a
malevolent smile gleams with unnatural brightness.
Shadowy tendrils of blackened smoke wrap themselves around his gigantic
onyxian frame. Among other things, the malodorous stench of sulfur and
brimstone assault your nostrils, accompanied by some impossibly faint
whispering or something that sounds like... Screaming?
Nah, Kryton isn't a jackass. He's just one damned tough opponent. If he were a jackass he would always loot everything from everyone just because he can. Last time he got me, he took my best weapon and my gold, but left everything else. Given that I was winning our fights in part due to that weapon, I consider that fair and not at all unreasonable. If he were a jackass, he would've taken as much from me as he could before I got back to my corpse.
He interrupted me when I was in winter and then had business elsewhere. My time out of the underworld is limited and I was trying to relate with our dead friend here who probably left after a giant fell on him, or so I am guessing.

A force to be reckoned with that one be. Dirnemak 0 , 0 , 0 . He interrupted me when I was in winter and then had business elsewhere.
