Born on the plains of the frozen tundra, I grew up in a home of strict discipline and unwavering competition between my brothers. My father always pitted us against each other to gain the very best out of his sons. From an early age, I learned to defend myself against extreme odds and deal with overwhelming circumstances. No matter the weather my father would train us in the art of war, depicting grand battles in our small cave. My mother would tend to our wounds, but with the same strict behavior demonstrated by our father. My older brother Jindo was chosen by our clan to represent us in the summer battles. At the time I was too young for the competition, but I traveled with him to learn. His first battle went quite smoothly and he defeated a young dwarf without breaking a sweat. His confidence soared and he did not maintain the discipline our father preached. A sinister drow was his next opponent my brother not respecting his opponent was left with a gracious souvenir, a permanent reminder to never take an opponent lightly for now he could no longer use his left hand. My father no longer recognized my brother as his son due to the embarrassment he caused our proud family. I became the chosen son to lead our family out of despair and change our misguided fortune. The very next summer I battled all opponents of the lands emerging victorious. My family was showered with gifts and wealth beyond our dreams. My parents became so engrossed with wealth and notoriety that they began to feature me as an unstoppable beast ready for any battle. I relished the attention and savored the blood I would spill. Countless men tried their hand in battle, and many lost just that. On a cold and stormy night a giant of a man came to my father and asked for his permission to take me to train with him. My father laughed in his face as I watched, within a blink of an eye a massive club the size of two men came crashing down on my father killing him instantly. The rest of my family fled in fear, the behemoth of a man looked at me and said, "You are not scared?" I responded, "There is nothing to fear, master teach me, I am your student."

Description:

This massive beast envelopes you in darkness as his rippling frame blocks out any visible light. You feel the muscles in your neck begin to ache as you look to the sky to see the razor sharp horns dripping with blood and hanging flesh. These horns point directly out at you eager to gore his next victim. His eyes are cold and dark, as he snarls saliva drips to floor splashing in all directions. There is a large tuft of hair below his chin braided with the fingers of children. From the top of his enormous head leading down his muscular neck, black hair flows back and forth in the wind. His arms are the size of human and his hands could palm a dwarf with ease. His rippling chest and core are scarred from his many battles. A torn loin cloth barely covers his midsection and his colossal thighs are flexed and ready to charge.

this char was more of a test character since I haven't had a level 50 zerker in probably 15 years. I just joined strife for the free sanc and I wasn't trying to rp at all (not that I normally do). The plan was to duel and kill people, but the only people that seem to play now are pretty nice and I didn't want to kill them if I won. Varliv fexis are great people, I was surprised on how easy it was to rank a mino zerker staring at 23k exp wasn't bad when u had a decent group to steam roll through mudfall. Personally I feel so lost when I am not caballed because I don't have a clear direction with a character. The last char I had my app was denied so I am not sure if Ill get the chance again and I have a cert test coming up that I should start studying for so that factored into the delete.

I wouldn't call myself an expert in zerkers but they are definitly fun and easier to play than I expected. I wouldn't make one again simply due to the unpredictable nature of the class. Being able to fall out of rage at such a crucial time is horrible, me personally I would rather see 3 mangles in a round than 1 devastate I don't like that change at all. I want to be able to gauge if my hit roll is where it needs to be or should I put more into damage.

Ozaru, you've got to think of it like reverse as well. If you can't see how many hits are getting through then they cant either.

Should have kept racking up wins.

I think that you stated that you were breaking roleplay for the players behind Varliv and Fexis. If you keep your roleplay consistent I don't think they will deny apps. That could have hurt your last character's chance to play the game.

Actually, he's on the shit list for blatant, repeated, and unrepentant multi and that's why his cabal apps are all getting denied.

You need to stay IC, obviously.

See, minotaurs are for wrecking people with. Read this from roleplaying with other races on the minotaur page:

[quote:727f762619="minotaur"]Though their tempers and actions may seem unpredictable, minotaurs are
guided by their god Diocletian and if there is one thing Thera can be
certain of - it is that minotaurs seek glory through death. Some of
the more extreme minotaurs have even adoped Resatimm as their deity.
A minotaur's primary want is to meet their maker after a grand rampage
and a befitting slaughter to numerous hands.[/quote:727f762619]

You're just doing it wrong and, contrary to what you think, people are judging you for it. They're thinking "That guy doesn't know how to rp a minotaur right".

You need to toss their salad, and they'll be like, OMFG I JUST GOT STOMPED BY A COW, THIS IS AWESOME, and you'll be like this:

Well I liked Vekato. In Strife, you have to decide whether you're going to kill the people you duel or not. Being an evil minotaur, you certainly had plenty of reason to kill your opponents, but as a player you also have to remember that if you kill everyone you duel, you'll probably wind up with a lot fewer duels with a lot tougher opponents. Word gets out fast.

Was RP thin? Yes it was, but RP is NOT everything any more than PK is everything, or attitude is everything. I wish you hadn't deleted Vekato. He seemed like a good alt to me, someone to build up and play around with on your probation or whatever and then keep him around to just mess around after your next Legion or Keeper takes a bath.

but I do hope that all of us who are doing well for ourselves will do our part help alleviate the ever-present want of those who live in less fortunate parts of the world.

You weren't roleplaying when it comes to decision making because of feeling the people behind the character are nice.

I miss rping a legion minotaur. It is possibly the easiest rp for me when I am fully active. Just walk in and slaughter or be slaughtered. It is the way of the berserker and some people love it and some people hate it. I urge any and every one not to play a berserker like a "gimped warrior" it is the most common mistake in my opinion.
