'LIGHTNING SHIELD' Syntax: cast 'lightning shield' (short syntax: lshi) Spell type: PROTECTIVE Lightning shield creates a magical shield of lightning around the invoker, slightly enhancing his spells in battle. If an opponent is in combat with an invoker surrounded by a lightning shield, there is a high chance that the shield will wound the opponent and, in some cases, shock the opponent, making him especially vulnerable to a dispel magic attempt. Water-based attacks against an invoker surrounded by a lightning shield will be enhanced, whereas lightning attacks will be dampened and reduced in power. Note that a lightning shield can be replaced at will by an invoker with a barrier, mana shield, ice shield, fire shield, or a new lightning shield.
