'ICE STORM' Syntax: cast 'ice storm' (short syntax: isto) Syntax: channel (to stop casting) Spell type: AFFLICTIVE This spell conjures a storm of ice, causing frigid wounds to everyone in the room. There are few spells with damage potential greater than that of a raging storm, but victims have also been known to survive the storm with little more than a few bruises and cold toes. Only invokers are able to call an ice storm as a part of their arsenal. Invokers who have mastery of ice summon a storm so powerful that they cannot be easily seen through the blizzard, and their enemies become blinded by the wind and sleet. In their endless study of the arcane, invokers have developed an affinity for elemental spells. An ice storm cast by an invoker who is completely attuned with cold has been known to cause anyone unlucky enough to be in the room to be overcome with a sudden chill (maledictive). Victims of this chill are much slower to react in battle. An icicle cast at an opponent still chilled from the ice storm will cause even more damage and potentially freeze the opponent's hands, causing him to drop his weapons. Related help files: HELP ICICLE
