'SHIELD DISARM' Syntax: shielddisarm, sd Some classes have learned the ability to disarm an opponent's shield away from their hands. With this, they can shake their opponent's hold on their shield and cause them to drop it. Warriors, paladins, dark-knights, monks and rangers can all learn this ability. Because shields are designed to absorb blows and are affixed much more securely than weapons are, it is difficult to disarm a shield using the brute force of a two-handed weapon. However, using two weapons at once to disarm a shield will improve one's chances of success. * Dual-wielding warriors deliver offhand attacks after success in shield disarm. * Dual-wielding rangers can try a DOUBLE DISARM after success in shield disarm.
