'UNHOLY STRENGTH' Syntax: cast 'unholy strength' (short syntax: unho) Before the rise of guilds in Serin, the Eternal Army held dominion, uniting brutal physical discipline with arcane mastery under a single command that drew upon the strength of all its ranks. The spell unholy strength remains a relic of that age, before the coming of Light tore the army asunder. Through it, dark-knights channel the power of their abyssal bulwark, hardening their bodies and magnifying their might for a fleeting time. Unholy strength multiplies weapon damage against all adversaries, while siphoning a trace of energy from each blow to replenish the bulwark that sustains it. The spell may be invoked repeatedly, stacking up to five times to increase its terrible potency. However, with each casting, the strain grows heavier, and at maximum strength the dark-knight risks falling into a state of delirium, consumed by the very abyss he draws upon. An abyssal shield is essential to endure this power without its support, the knight is left weakened, drained by the force he sought to wield. As embodiments of the Light, paladins and healers were reviled most by the Dark Army. In their presence, the spell surges with greater potency, imbuing dark-knights with strength sharpened by ancient hatred.
