'FIRE SHIELD' Syntax: cast 'fire shield' (short syntax: fshi) Spell type: PROTECTIVE Fire shield creates a magical shield of fire around the invoker, enhancing his power in battle. If an opponent is in combat with an invoker surrounded by a fire shield, there is a high chance that the shield will wound the opponent, and, in some cases, completely engulf the opponent in flames. Ice attacks against an invoker surrounded by a fire shield will be enhanced, whereas fire attacks will be dampened and reduced in power. Note that a fire shield can be replaced at will by an invoker with a barrier, mana shield, ice shield, lightning shield, or a new fire shield. Barrier and mana shield are irreversible choices.
