'ICE SHIELD' Syntax: cast 'ice shield' (short syntax: ishi) Spell type: PROTECTIVE Ice shield creates a magical shield of ice around the invoker, acting as thick armor. If an opponent is in combat with an invoker surrounded by an ice shield, there is a high chance that the shield will wound the opponent and, in some cases, slow down the opponent with a frigid chill. Fire attacks against an invoker surrounded by an ice shield will be enhanced, whereas ice attacks will be dampened and reduced in power. Note that an ice shield can be replaced at will by an invoker with a barrier, mana shield, fire shield, lightning shield, or a new ice shield. Barrier and mana shield are irreversible choices.
