'PATRON' Syntax: buy patronage Patrons are an exclusive club of socialites centered around the Mocker's Tavern in Seringale. Their patronage supports the HERALDS, who in return entertain Patrons with tales and poems of Serin's history. Thus, Patrons and Heralds have a close and symbiotic relationship with one another. There are no special requirements for becoming a Patron, other than paying a patronage fee after being sponsored by an existing Patron or Herald. Sponsorship helps to maintain the exclusivity of the Patrons and the peace of the Mocker's Tavern, and promotes the general fraternity among Patrons. Otherwise, there are only a few rules governing the conduct of Patrons: * Fraternity: Patrons do not harm Heralds or other Patrons at any time. * Civility: Patrons do not break the Tavern's peace by initiating attacks. * Exclusivity: Patrons do not harbor criminals and barred troublemakers. * Insularity: Patrons do not intrude upon other cabals or cause crimes. Patrons who violate these rules of conduct may have their patronages revoked by any Herald using the PROHIBIT skill. NOTE: Becoming a Patron is a good way for those new to the realms to find friends and belong to a larger organization, regardless of their current roleplaying or playerkilling skills.
