Lord Sarich was the first paladin who served as Queen Victoria's Knight. His
tactical acumen contributed greatly to Valour's triumphant victory in
their war against darkness. Though at war, he spared his enemies who had chosen
to come under the fold of light. His valorous deed granted him the popularity
of the Valour's citizen and also the affection from his queen. This affection
brewed the jealousy of another Knight who bore unreciprocated love for their
queen. It was a fateful night, Lord Sarich found his beloved queen assassinated
by the same Knight who is also his half-brother, Rodyn. The castle of Valour
mourned for the death of their queen, Sarich diverted his pain and suffering to
become his strength and declare the knights sovereignty over Valour to restore
order and peace. By his favored longsword, he sworn together with the knights
that no citizen of Valour shall be harmed in the presence of any knight. The
altar of Sarich resides within the City of Valour.
Followers of Sarich display a deep regard for mercy, in stark contrast to the
ruthless assassination that was carried out on their monarch. They value
life in all of its forms, believing that there is always goodness to be found
and saved, even within the most tormented of souls. An example of the great
influence of Sarich can be found in the Knights of Valour, a group that does
not merely follow, but actually lives by, its code of virtue. This tempers
their aggression with goodness, ensuring that revenge does not rule them.
