'APPEALS' At Abandoned Realms, our Immortals are all vetted very carefully for being level- headed individuals with a clean record, who can be trusted to supervise others and ensure the game rules are enforced fairly for everybody. However, they are human, just like you, and that means a mistake can happen. Rather than get upset because a mistake was made, we encourage you to use the process of appeal. To appeal in-game is potentially risky, as if it is the unlikely case that an Immortal actually does bear a personal grudge to you, airing your grievance in-game is unlikely to do you much good. Therefore, if you prefer, please send appeals via EMAIL directly to Davairus instead of via the issue system. Due to real-world time constraints, please note that emailed appeals will take a longer time to investigate, especially if they are submitted without a log. Please note that this is not a process for making appeals about the alleged wrongdoings of Justice cabal members. These should be sent to the Justice cabal and dealt with by Justice cabal mortals and, if necessary, their cabal's Immortal. On the other hand, if an Immortal did intervene after such a report, then *that* would be a justification to make an appeal - because it oversteps the boundaries of Immortal rules and mortal politics. Immortals shall only intervene when there is a need for immediate action, such as a Justice that is mass flagging everyone, or corrupted (e.g. taking bribes to leave town).
