'BOTANY' Syntax: plant <seed> (from Emy the Florist, or elsewhere) Syntax: plants (tracks your plants) Plants are key components of brewed potions and other recipes, and often have magical properties in their own right. To begin, buy some seeds from Emy in Timaran and, if needed, appraise them at Cyril the gardener to see what they do. Keep in mind, growth times can be shortened greatly with proper care. Planting the seed: Simply find a field and plant it. Plants need sunlight to grow fast, so its wise to pick a place where sunlight will reach it. Otherwise you will be waiting quite a while for your plant. Caring for the plant: Use the "plants" command to track the progress of your plant and how much time is remaining for it to finish growing. Plants can be fed magic mushrooms. Simply make a mushroom where the plant is growing, or drop one there. Plants can be watered by pouring a barrel of water on the ground or by casting a magical spring. These and sunlight all accelerate plant growth. Synthesizing your finished plant: Once the plant has completed growing, you can either eat it right away or take it to Echuir in Seringale.
