CLOBBER Syntax: clobber <target> Agile classes often prefer to get up close and personal to fight even when it prevents them from using their weapons in traditional ways. The clobber skill is an example of how these classes can turn this to an advantage. While using a shaft weapon, agile classes can attempt to slip within an opponent's defenses to use the blunt shaft of the weapon to bludgeon an opponent right in the face. If successful, the clobber attack can send the victim sprawling, and the close proximity often allows one to perform additional combat skills automatically before the victim has a chance to recover. Two-handed clobbers are even more effective. Clobber attacks are most effective against an opponent using segment weapons, which have difficulties defending at close range. Conversely, bladed weapons are well-suited for close range defense and thus it is extremely risky to attempt to clobber an adversary wielding one. * Requires shaft weapon * Strong against segment, weak against blade. * Can be blocked by PROTECTIVE SHIELD.
