Their black magic steadily kills and poisons the trees around their plot, causing the curse of the woods to befall it. The curse of Acadia, it is called, and it brings poor luck upon all those unfortunate enough to be afflicted with it. Another name it is known as is, the curse of the dead. To be assailed with the curse of Acadia is to be an unpleasant experience indeed. A curse for which there is no known cure. It is said that the curse can backfire on the druid, especially when used against descendants of the fey. Regardless, those bold enough to attempt the SUMMON spell while afflicted may bring additional ruin on themselves.
