The Great Codex of Serin is an item data bank, used for the storage of item knowledge both past and present. Mystics are sometimes able to discern more knowledge from the codex than the typical adventurer can. The codex is an "out of game" resource available at the following URL: http://abandonedrealms.com/realms/areas/items/ The codex can be accessed in game as well, requiring the active Mystic spell TEARS OF ETHER which provides one with the necessary INSIGHT. Mystics can use the CODEX function to search and create lists which may be published for general use.
