DEMON-ELF While the realm of Acadia is mostly known for its outstanding natural beauty and population of faeries, an essence of great evil still simmers just below the surface. One such personification is a demon of untold origin but of sinister maliciousness. This demon waits in the shadows of reality, ready to latch itself into the soul of elves of Serin who have lost their way. Elf Paladins who have taken the Oath of Eradication are sworn to never mortally harm another Lightwalker. Those who do will find their souls consumed by the demon of Acadia, converting them for eternity to a twisted Demon-Elf. Demon-elves hold a contempt for life and find pleasure in the suffering of others. They are especially malevolent towards their former race, Elves, blaming them in part for the demon-elf's treacherous demise and resenting them for the elf's continued purity. Due to their demonic nature, demon-elves are by nature vulnerable to objects of holy nature. They are also considered OUTCAST from society due to their turning so drastically from their original paths.
