DREAMSTRUCK

'DREAMSTRUCK' Syntax: cast 'dreamstruck' <target> Spell type: UNIQUE Plausibility rating: fibbing Dependency: none The dreamstruck spell allows the illusionist to attempt to send a vivid dream directly into the target's head. Whether the dream reaches its target and how potently lodged the dream becomes is determined by the caster's HITROLL, although the dream never misses creature targets. Intelligence of both the caster and the target also determines how easily the dreamstruck spell takes effect. See also: FEEBLEMIND A dreamstruck target not only takes initial dream damage, but also suffers from a loss in their save against mental spells. Conjured illusions such as PHANTASMAL GRIFFON last longer against a dreamstruck target, and one who has been dreamstruck also suffers additional damage from such illusions, as well as from all other forms of mental damage. However, being dreamstruck does not increase the damage taken from duplicates. The dreamstruck spell is not affected by one's save against mental spells. * Undead targets (both player and creature) are immune to dreamstruck. See also: HELP HITROLL
